3M Commercial 4-5/8X10 Wht Clean Pad (Pack of 5) 8440 Scrub Pad

We used to call these things "scrungy pads" so when our source for the occasional new pad went away, I didn't know what to look for. I was SO happy to find these on Amazon and was almost afraid they wouldn't be as good as the old ones we used to have. Well, they are exactly the same the scrungy pads we used to use 30+ years ago! They're great for bugs on windshields, grills and bumpers, and I'm using half of one on my birdbath that seems to get algae covered overnight practically. They're are fantastic and won't scratch either.

Be aware 3M pads come in colors designed for the application. We have a brand name engineered tile floor that had some scuff marks from installation. Regular cleaning still left a grout residue. We didn't want to do harsh cleaning for fear of abraiding the sheen of the tile. Read somewhere that one should use this abrasion level of a 3M pad. It worked great -- residue came off and tile surface remained OK.

Well worth the cost.

Had to strip wax off my vinyl tile floor and these pads along with STRIPPER made it much easier.

I was introduced to these pads by a tile installer and I love them. I cut them into smaller sizes and use them to scrub grout, stone floors and counters, and to get any buildup off ceramic tile and anything else that requires a non-abrasive scrubbing. I even cut off tiny pieces to scrub pots really effectively, then just throw the little piece away. Otherwise these are pretty reusable for a long time; they shrink way down with use, but are still effective. I have even put them through the washing machine. I highly recommend these.

Waste of money … will throw product away .

I bought this because my shop windows were painted for Christmas. The painter said to buy a doodlebug pad to get off all the paint and marker. I watched him use one and it was amazing how well it worked. I bought these thinking they were the same ones but I don't think so. My boyfriend used one at his work and it was quite thin , around 1/4 inch. Mine are close to 1 inch and doesnt seem abrasive enough to get the last bits of marker left. So if you are looking to clean a painted window, these are not them. If you just want to clean a dirty window.. probably. My dog nose kiss covered car windows will come clean.

Un produit étonnant d'efficacité pour nettoyer, démoustiquer une carrosserie par exemple. On a du mal à croire que cela ne va pas rayer la peinture, le vernis en découvrant le tampon et pourtant c'est une réalité. Avec un peu d'eau savonneuse, j'ai divisé mon temps de travail par 3 au moins. Pas donné mais je recommande !
