I've upgraded my review from four stars to five. When I first set this unit up the thermometer was a bit out and I thought, well, what did you really expect. But, I had a closer look and I've just found out that the thermometer pointer can be calibrated - result! You adjust it by turning the black plastic housing inside the unit (see first photo). No instructions came with the unit so I didn't know. Winter is truly on its way and over the last three days it's been cold, wet and we've had a few gales. There has been an over-night low of 2°C and a daytime high of 12°C, and it's now 6°C and dropping. As the temperature has changed, I have compared the thermometer with another couple of digital thermometers and it's been spot on, in fact, it's been very accurate. The clock has kept good time, as well. There's a removable cover inside so you can set the clock via a small dial. It's very cheap and cheerful so don't expect great workmanship because you won't get it, things are a bit askew - but for this price who cares! It's also hanging on an outside wall so it doesn't really matter. I really like the antique look of it; the colour is very nice. I have it facing a window, which means I can check the temperature when walking past or doing the dishes (see other photos). I can also quickly check the time when I'm working outside. The unit will revolve though 360°, left or right, so you can have it pointing any which way you like. The unit has also been through some really heavy showers lately, and, surprisingly, it hasn't let any water inside; it hasn't missed a beat. For the price, it's got to be one of the best things I've ever bought on Amazon! It arrived by Royal Mail 48hr Delivery as well, so I can't complain at all. I'll have to see if it survives the winter, but, somehow, I think it will. I'm very happy with this purchase, highly recommended.

It’s a very cute looking clock and very reasonably priced.

Looked good for a couple of years but has now stopped working altogether. Poor quality.

Overall quality OK. The swivel is very very loose with no apparent method to tighten it up.

Beautiful clock. Works well. Looks lovely on garden fence.
