Very small serving size, but enough to satisfy
I was not expecting this to work as well as it did. Cooked chicken with fresh onions and mushrooms in about 45 min. "that's a long time" maybe, but no fuel or electricity in a grid down situation, who could complain! Works great for situations you wouldn't want to cause anyone to know where you are. light and portable, but it is a thin glass, so don't drop it

A good, lightweight solar oven for a great price!
Got my little oven yesterday and tried it out immediately. It was after 5 so, full sun wasn't really an option but after playing with positions, it was at its optimal spot and it heated a cylinder of water in about an hr to a point that was very nearly boiling. I wasn't actually expecting it to be that hot so, burnt the tip of my finger slightly 😁. I made some potatoes in it this AM because I'm evidently obsessed with it and it's boiling some ramen noodles now. This unit is small. It won't feed a family. It is large enough to feed one (maybe 2). It's lightweight and decently stable. I'm genuinely pleased with what it's performance so far. Looking forward to meatballs with it this evening! As a followup I couldn't get extra lean ground beef today in a non- frozen state so, a seasoned chicken breast wrapped in bacon was my test subject. 1 hr and 45 mins later it was on a plate. At 214 degrees it was perfect.

Gosun Go
I am a believer in solar ovens, for fun, preparedness and camping. I have a 5” evacuated tube oven I purchased on Amazon and really like it, but it is large and with the reflector takes up quite a bit of space. I wanted something small and packable to take hiking and the sort. The Gosun Go fit that bill. Taking into account that it is small and you won’t be making large meals with it, I really like it. If you take into account the payoff of size vs capacity it can be a great tool. Make a couple of hotdogs for the kid and other similar size items, it is great! Kid can be playing at the park while some snacks or a small meal is cooking. No fires, charcoal or other fuels required. The price is rather high, but the quality is good. All the pieces work well. For disaster preparedness you will want a larger solar oven, but if you know it’s limitations and strengths it can be a handy and fun tool to make a nice hot snack or small meal on the go.

It works!
I tried my Gosun for the first time this weekend. First I heated water for tea. It is a learning curve of knowing where in my yard to put it for optimal convenience with no shading from the sun (and our moving Earth). Worked great, the water was painful to my finger when I tested it after 30 or so minutes. It took that long because I accidentally had a little shade in that time. Next I heated some garlic toast. I left it in there for well over an hour and it came out crispy. Hard to believe that food in an enclosed tube can become crispy and not soggy. There is a tiny airhole in the cap (purposely) but still I was surprised the bread was nice and crisp. It is quite small, only good for one person, in my opinion. Appetizer sized courses and 1.5-2 cups of water can be heated in there. But it heats so quickly that you could make one item and pop the next food in there to cook as you are enjoying the first course. Pretty cool!

Cooking with the sun!
If you had told me that a person could cook food only using the power of the sun prior, I would have thought you were loony. I picked this up and brought it out to the lake not really expecting it to cook anything. But to my surprise after about an hour, it had cooked the good I prepared. It's not a lot of food since it's their portable lineup but i'll definitely be taking this camping. When it's hot outside, the last thing a camper wants to do is make a hot fire to make food. This can be a good alternative to cooking food.

Clever, but too small to be of much practical value
This clever and portable cooker is too small to be of much use. I use it to heat one cup of coffee mid-day. One has to choose between cooking food or having a hot beverage and it is necessary to allow the tube to cool down before adding new contents. I have not cooked solid food in it because of the small size as well as other cautionary notes, such as avoiding foods that expand with cooking. It also appears that it would be hard to clean the tube without soiling the case to which it is attached. I am an experienced and serious solar cook and feel that, at most, this item might work for preparing a snack for a back packer on a short excursion.

Works well.
It works great. Photos are cooking in direct sun at after 4:00... I overcooked my egg though. 21 minutes was too many. I'm excited for hot food in areas with fire restrictions.

Great product!
This worked really well and quality construction. The only drawback is it is a little small to cook a full meal for a guy my size. So I bought the GoSun Sport cooker which allows me to cook a full meal and am using this model to make my hot beverages as is is designed to boil water and liquids.12 ounces of tea or water for coffee if you prefer. They are a perfect compliment to each other!!

A really convenient size to take camping or for a drive to heat, cook and even boil water. I now have the GoSunGo, Grill and Sport. Save money eat well, bake in it too.

I am so happy that I finally ordered this Solar Oven. Yes, it's tiny, and only meant for 1 person, but it is light and super easy to clean. I used it for the first time yesterday to heat up my lunch, and in 10-12 minutes it was really warm/hot. VERY PLEASED with this and will be ordering more for gifts!

This solar oven is well engineered and manufactored. It is small, easy to use and seems to be robust enough. I use it a lot to boil 400 water for coffee, instant soup or instant pasta on camping trips. Also I successfully baked bread and cookies in it. However this requires more preparation which requires more of a kitchen. Because the glass tube is quite small you need to use the little space as much as possible for cooking dishes. It works well with risotto: fill the silicone pans almost completely with rice. Add water up to the silicone rim. Cook for a while until dry, add some missing water, cook until the rice is done. I will experiment with omelette and ground meat as well.
