Premium feel, thoughtfully made, and uses a more costly food-grown form of zinc
Wild Nutrition Food-Grown Zinc Plus makes a strong first impression. The packaging is clean and understated, with a quality amber glass bottle and simple, informative labelling. It suggests a brand focused on trust and substance rather than marketing gimmicks. The design is consistent across the Wild Nutrition range, which makes it easy to recognise again either on a shelf or when browsing online. What sets this zinc supplement apart is the method of production. Rather than using common synthetic forms like zinc citrate or zinc sulfate, Wild Nutrition uses its Food-Grown process, in which nutrients are cultured within Lactobacillus bulgaricus. This is a more complex and costly process, but one that results in a supplement which looks and feels better made. From the refined packaging to the small, smooth capsules, the difference is tangible. I experienced no side effects, although I am not usually sensitive to supplements. I had already been taking zinc and B-vitamins from another food-based brand, so I did not notice a marked improvement in energy or wellbeing. That said, this matched or exceeded the performance of my usual product and gave a stronger impression of consistency and care. The capsule is small, odourless, easy to swallow and contains no unnecessary fillers or flow agents. One design flaw worth noting is the size of the bottle. It contains 30 capsules for a one-month supply, but the capsules fill only about a fifth of the space. A smaller jar or larger quantity would seem more suitable, particularly given the cost. Nutritional information per capsule: Zinc (from Food-Grown material): 15mg (150% NRV) Vitamin B1 (Thiamin): 0.55mg (50% NRV) Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin): 0.7mg (50% NRV) Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine): 0.7mg (50% NRV) All figures are based on UK adult Nutrient Reference Values. What I liked ✓ Premium feel with recyclable glass bottle ✓ Food-Grown zinc using cultured Lactobacillus bulgaricus ✓ Small, easy to swallow capsule with no aftertaste ✓ Added B1, B2 and B6 for broader support ✓ No fillers or artificial binders Room for improvement ✘ Price is on the higher side for a 30-day supply, but food-derived zinc is naturally more expensive to produce ✘ Oversized bottle may give a misleading impression ✘ No obvious benefit felt over other good quality supplements, although the overall quality is excellent Final thoughts Wild Nutrition Food-Grown Zinc Plus is a carefully crafted supplement that puts quality and integrity at the forefront. It may not deliver dramatic results, but it offers quiet confidence and a feeling of trust in the formulation. If price were not a consideration, this is exactly the sort of brand I would choose across the board. I am giving it four stars for its manufacturing quality, thoughtful design and the premium impression it leaves.

Natural Product
Glad to see some companies still sell natural products.

Excellent quality product
Wild Nutrition is a reputable and highly regarded company. Their products are natural and backed by science. They are a certified B Corp company, so you know you are buying a quality product. These use a high strength and good quality Zinc vitamins. The blend of vitamins in this product are regarded as working well together and I'm pleased that the B vitamins are included with the zinc. Zinc has so many amazing positives. I know I don't get enough in my diet and this supplement is a fantastic product to invest in being so carefully produced. They are relatively easy to take, the capsules are fairly small in comparison to typical vitamin capsules so that's a bonus. They don't have an after taste either. The presentation of them is top quality too. The glass jar they come in is lovely. There is a months worth in each bottle, so at the current price it's only 50p a day which is great value. Especially for such a good quality product, with ethically sourced ingredients. I'm pleased with them and would recommend.

Ingredients list is very nice and clean looking! I like these a lot.
The capsules are not stuffed with fillers or binders and are suitable for vegetarians. They are small, easy to swallow and do not need to be taken with a meal. If you have problems swallowing capsules, the great thing is that these can be pulled apart and the contents mixed with yoghurt, cooled porridge, fruit puree or a smoothie. They come in a dark glass bottle which is designed to be kept and refilled. If not then it can simply be recycled. I like the combination of the zinc which is good for hair, skin and nails and the added B vitamins work on balancing hormones. I love this supplement as all the ingredients come from a food source. I feel that this helps the body absorb them more easily, so you don't require such high doses. They also come from sustainably farmed sources. Seems like a quality product as far as I can tell.

Decent but Not a Standout
As a 43-year-old with a busy life balancing work and family, I always look for supplements that can give me that extra edge in health. This time, I tried Wild Nutrition Food-Grown Zinc Plus, which boasts Zinc along with Vitamins B1, B2, and B6. Honestly, I was hoping for a noticeable boost, especially with the demands of a small baby at home. However, after a few weeks of consistent use, I didn't observe any significant changes. It's not that it's a bad product – it's just that it didn't live up to my expectations in terms of noticeable health benefits. Pros: Comprehensive Formula: The combination of Zinc and B Vitamins is well-thought-out. Zinc is great for immune support, and B Vitamins are crucial for energy levels. Food-Grown Ingredients: I appreciate the use of food-grown nutrients, which are generally more easily absorbed by the body. Cons: Subtle Effects: Personally, I didn't notice any substantial difference in my energy levels or overall well-being. This was a bit of a letdown. Price Point: Considering the subtle effects, the price seems a bit steep. I was expecting more bang for my buck. In short, while Wild Nutrition Food-Grown Zinc Plus has a promising formula, it didn't make a noticeable difference for me. It might work better for others, but as a dad juggling life's daily stresses, I didn't find it particularly impactful.
