My son is tube fed and this is my go to. I blend all of his food normally but when we are on the go or a day gets too hectic, the food lens is my go to. They are made with real food without any extra, added junk in them.

I am really pleased with this product. It is soooo important for people who are feeding by tube to know that there are far healthier alternatives to use than what the modern medical establishment currently pumps into our loved ones as food. My mother recently had to start using a feeding tube while in the hospital, and let me tell you it was painful watching them continuously pump Jevity (some synthetic, over processed, over chemicalized food tube formula) into her system. I was so vulnerable, as I didn't know anything about tube feeding or what people should be eating while using a tube. While my mother was on Jevity I saw her pain continuously increase. She began to moan more than she had been before using it. I believe very much in nutrition and knew that the Jevity formula was not going to get my mother to thrive. I immediately began to do research about natural tube formulas and came across two -- Liquid Hope and Real Food Blends. Well Liquid Hope is quite a bit out of my price range, but Real Food Blends is not. Thank goodness for my mother's doctor, as he also believes strongly in nutrition and in taking a holistic approach to healing. He looked at the formula and gave his approval for using it. I'm so glad that he did. It feels really great knowing that there is a much better alternative to that Jevity crap. My mother's pain has subsided quite a bit. I add quite a few nutritional elements to this, but it just feels great knowing that I have a good base, a much better alternative to formulas such as Jevity. I have vacillated and forth as to whether or not I should give this 4 stars or 5. I was considering 4 stars because I have just started using the product and I wish they would create a no sodium formula (although the salt content isn't very high). But I decided to go for five stars because it is imperative for those who are on feeding tubes to know that hope abounds and that there are formulas out there that are natural and holistic. We must challenge the modern medical paradigm and demand that the medical system incorporate holistic nutrition into every aspect of health, including what is put into those tubes, whether intravenously or by feeding tube. My hope is that more companies will be established that will also create holistic, nutritional formulas for people on feeding tubes. It feels incredible knowing that I am giving my mother a formula that isn't loaded with sugar and garbage and whereby I can recognize the ingredients as healthy food. I am very thankful for this company and the few others like this (actually, I only know of two, but I hope there are more of them out there). My goal is for my mother to completely heal. I can't wait to update this review about her progress.

Wonderful. But expensive eexpensive

This stuff is awful. I wanted to return it but it isn't returnable. Alot of money for nasty product

Does anyone know why it is so expensive? Around 15$ for a pouch. 330 calories. I can't afford to keep buying :(
