As Always, Samsung TVs Are Top Notch!
Holy smokes, this TV looks FANTASTIC! Our 55" Samsung that was 12 or so years old finally bit the dust by way of the HDMI connection constantly blinking out. So, I sprung for the 77" that we've been wanting for awhile. The colors are brilliant and very sharp, while the 120Hz refresh rate for 4K makes viewing easier on the eyes than a slower refresh rate. There is overwhelming evidence that going from 60Hz to 120Hz reduces eye strain, headaches, fatigue and the likes. I've also been reading that going all the way up to a 240Hz refresh rate yields diminishing returns, unless you're into prolonged stretches of intense gaming on that TV/Monitor. Since we don't use this TV for long, intense gaming sessions, I decided not to go with a 240Hz model. I'm very pleased with everything about this TV. There is absolutely nothing that I can complain about. There are plenty of HDMI ports available, and the remote control is simple and easy to navigate. Also, the Samsung TV menu navigation has been greatly improved from our old Samsung. I am very pleased with this. Also, there are dozens (perhaps hundreds?!) of FREE channels that Samsung has built into their TV menu. While navigating these free Samsung channels, I suddenly discovered that I had watched a full episode of a show I hadn't seen in years. Although I utilize a separate amp and 7.2 sound, I will say that the built-in speakers are decent quality. I would have no problem using these built-in speakers, if it were all I had. The sound is not tinny, nor obviously under-powered, as so many other large TVs are. The built-in speakers are not bad at all. Also worth mentioning is that this TV is very thin, but also very rigid and stiff, relieving my worries that it would accidentally twist during wall-installation, causing irreparable damage. Quite on the contrary--this TV is tough! I had no issues whatsoever, lifting it with one other person of small stature, and hanging it onto the wall-mount. I never once felt like it was going to flex or twist itself into oblivion. I have no fears when needing to pull it away from the wall and service the wiring or anything behind the TV. I will recommend this line of Samsung TVs to anyone who asks. As always, Samsung is a top-notch choice for TVs!

Stunning visuals and smart features for a midrange cost.
This is my first OLED TV and I have to express just how transformative it really is. The picture is so clear and and the colors are so punchy that I almost prefer it to a theater screen. It has completely revitalized my love for watching films because of how stunning they look on this screen. It was easy to setup with two people, I did end up mounting it on a stand rather than using the base it came with. Having 4 HDMI 2.1 ports is great for plugging in multiple high res / frame rate devices. The UI does take a little getting used to but once you get it customized its pretty intuitive. I like that the remote doesn't have batteries but it could use some more buttons, it's just a bit simple to a fault. I got the 55" version on sale for $1099 and for that price I think its absolutely incredible. This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time.

Amazing OLED TV. Please make sure to get it from Amazon and not third party.
Amazing TV, Perfect OLED picture. PS Always check seller AND shipper is Amazon and not third party? This is very important because price is identical Path. I made a mistake ordering a TV first time around from third-party seller and once again from the price you would never know it's the same price. It took them about 10 days to admit something was happening and they told me TV was damaged in the shipping and they have to wait until it comes back to dispatch another one. I immediately canceled the order and bought another one from this time. Amazon . I had TV in my room in 3 days. So yeah amazing five star TV but make sure you got it at the Amazon and nowhere else.

Beware of buying very fragile expensive items.
I had a very disturbing experience with this purchase. I bought our our Samsung 48” OLED S90F from Amazon. I never saw this tv on a showroom floor so I was very surprised by what I found. When it was delivered no damage was apparent. However I did notice the packing tape used was clear plastic, not paper tape. Once out of the box I noticed the glass panel ended abruptly and without any protective bezel. Just a vulnerable glass edge. “Odd”, I thought. I continued to set up the tv and plugged it in. Nothing happened. I checked the remote. Nothing. After checking everything again I contacted Samsung via their website. I used Chat to walk me through troubleshooting. Sales expert Camille took my info and sent a checklist of possible solutions. Item #3 said, “Test the Screen. Shine a flashlight on the screen while the TV is on. If you see faint images, the backlight may be faulty though with OLED, it could be a panel issue.” I assumed the tv was on so I did as instructed. Guess what? I discovered a faint “star” crack at the left mid center edge of the panel. Then I noticed a very faint crack leaving that star and trailing all the way to the mid center top! I had my daughter corroborate my find. Believe me, we were uber gentle unpacking this tv and placing it on a cushioned ottoman. I messaged Camille back with our find and she responded, “ Thank you for sharing that. Operator message sent at 10:07 PM: Thank you for your patience. While we, as the Pre-Sales Team, primarily handle product orders, I tried to find a resolution for you. Unfortunately, our expertise and tools are limited for this specific concern. No worries! I can assist you in connecting with the appropriate department for your technical inquiry.…..” but not until Monday! This was Friday. Next day, I decided to check Best Buy for the same tv and for only $2 more, they had one left in the whole tri state area. I bought their last one. The box had original paper packing tape sealing the box. The glass panel had a thin but visible bezel all the way around the tv’s glass edge! What’s more, the panel had a thin clear plastic protector covering the tv’s face! I looked at the Amazon tv and sure enough there wasn’t one of those! And there were faint scuff marks across the panel too! There’s no doubt in my mind this was a previously returned and repackaged $1614.83 tv. I do thank Amazon, thank you Jeff, thank you Prime, for refunding my money after a nail-biting few weeks of investigation into my claim. Very disappointing, very disturbing. Beware of buying very fragile expensive items.
