Great book
Couldn't wait to receive this book & dive in. I fell upon Ben on his you tube channel, so much of what he was saying, resonated with myself & husband that we immediately attempted to switch the way we were eating with what we had in the cupboards already then gradually replaced with what we call good old fashioned food. So far so good, feeling better already, more energy, lots less foggy headed, Husband down a stone & a half, myself a stone. I know I can improve this further by walking daily. Thank you Ben for giving us the inspiration, information and the tools to continue to improve & practise vitamin G daily.

miss a plan, but excellent information
great book. very informative, but lacking a clear guide to a 4 week plan. it has lots of recipes at the back. but i wanted an appendix with a plan attached to help me start the journey. i hope he creates one and makes it downloadable if your have purchased the book.

Inspirational book
Ordered the book after watching Ben's videos on YouTube, I've read the introduction so far and I'm hooked already, he has amazing amounts of knowledge about the subject, which people have had great results using his methods. Being a type 1 diabetic I want to lose excess belly fat and prolong my life, I'm hoping following the advice in his book I will achieve my goal

I was very impressed by how thorough the scientific information is in this book. My only complaint would have been that in the detoxification chapter, he didn't go into depth on the detox methods he recommended at the end of the chapter, but he explained each of them in more depth in the final chapter, so I was happy with the depth of information presented. A lot of times, in a book like this, I find the recipes unusable due to not being able to modify them to exclude foods I'm sensitive to. Many of his recipes are not only easy to modify, but use ingredients I already have, so I don't have to go out and buy a bunch of specialty ingredients I've never heard of. I tried one of them today, and it was simple and absolutely delicious. The jury is out on whether the program works, but I've been on it for about 4 days, and I can already feel differences in my body. Most notably, I'm warm again while at rest after several years of being cold constantly to the point of having to wear sweatshirts and blankets year round. One thing to note is that the author recommends lots of products that are quite expensive, so it would have been nice to hear his recommendations for alternatives for those on a budget. Not everyone who wants to take control of their health is a YouTube millionaire, and it was frustrating to see that all of his "hacks" were out of my price range. I'll still work the plan without them, and the same goes for the usage of organic grass fed everything. When you're metabolically unhealthy, I have to believe that any positive changes are worthwhile, even if you can't double your grocery budget every week or spend $500 a month on supplements. If you're interested in the science of metabolism, this is a great book with step-by-step instructions and a 30 day plan to kickstart your new healthy lifestyle. The author is clear and writes in a conversational, yet factual, tone that is easy to read and accessible to people like me who are not super science-y. Highly recommended.
