I just set these up for my seed-starting shelves and it was an immediate upgrade. I’m running four 3-ft bars per shelf and the coverage is nice and even across my trays. Install: Very straightforward. Everything plugged in and worked right away with no issues. My setup: I wanted adjustability, so I made simple hanging brackets using aluminum L-angle (cut to size) so I can raise and lower the lights as seedlings grow. I also used the included mounting brackets, which made it easy to secure everything and dial in the height without constantly rearranging trays. Use case: Seedlings. So far, so good — easy to install, flexible for shelf builds, and a solid seed-starting option.

I purchased these lights to start my seedlings and absolutely love them! After researching, I was I so confused on my lighting. Could these lights really work? Everyone is still recommending shop lights, but they are just too bright for my rural home. I have 3 8' x 2' industrial shelves and purchased 4 different light systems to test out which were best for seedlings. And these are the lights that work best-hands down! I am back to order more as I have added additional shelves to each unit. I used 4 rows of lights because the stats on the light only apply to the suggested amount of lights together-I think. I seen Youtube reviews of people who only used 2 rows of lights and they were not happy. I cannot say enough good things about these lights! The fact that they daisy chsin is my favorite feature. It allows me to keep the wires nice and out of the way. I simply folded the daisy chain back under the rack shelves and they stay without support! There is not a noticeable difference in my electric bill-I was a lil nervous it skyrocket:) Also, I can put my seedlings right on the lights and there is less fire hazard than shop lights. I pluged them all into a surge protector power strip to avoid damage to the lights and reduce fire hazzards even further! Water and electricity never mix, so remember to use caution.

These lights have a better spectrum for plants than the plain 5000K LEDs that I removed. I don’t think they are quite as bright, but the plants will let me know in a week or 2! Easy to set up, but one star was removed because the cords to connect them together were not long enough for some of my (18”) shelf spacing. I had to use cords off of other lights that were plenty long so be aware of that 1 thing. All 8 of these 3’ pinkish white lights work. I will try to update if I have problems in the long run. So far, so good.

I purchased these lights to start pepper and tomato seeds inside. I bought a shelf from Walmart and ziptied 3 lights to the top two shelves and 2 to the bottom. The seedlings seem to be doing great so far and I was able to grow a beautiful tray of lettuce.
