Max Studio Women's Jersey Ruffle Sleeve Tiered Short Dress

It’s my go to summer dress. Cute, comfy, casual and flattering. I have it in both colors. Love it!!

I wear a size 16/XL and this XL dress did not fit at all :( I had my mom try it on who is a Medium-Large depending on the brand and it fits her beautifully. It's cute, comfortable and has some nice detailing. It skims the body until the seam under the bust. Then it flows out in a nice breezy style. Just wish it fit me

Max Studio never disappoints! As soon as I saw this, I knew that I would love it! Some of my favorite pieces of clothing are from Max Studio! This dress was very well-designed. Not only did it take the female body into consideration, it also took into consideration how to flatter it! This dress is even better in person! I have worn it several times and each time have absolutely enjoyed it! This dress does not trap heat. It is very lightweight and feels wonderful in the skin! I have found this very easy to wash in a mesh laundry bag and I do lay it flat to dry to avoid shrinkage. I have found no stitching errors and have zero complaints regarding this dress! Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with having this piece and look forward to more from this brand!

I really like this dress, i'd LOVE it if the sizing wasn't a little squirrely... but it's definitely still wearable. The material is a thin jersey-knit (think your favorite stretchy tee) and feels great. It's super breathable for the summer and could even be worn with a cutoff jacket, denim jacket or bolero in the cooler months. It's also super cute with brown thigh highs or cowboy boots. Anyways, i like the design... the micro striping is enough to give the dress some character without giving you a headache from the pattern. It's a tiered swing dress sorta look, very timeless, and can be dressed up or down depending on where you're wearing it. Most of the dress is true to size but the upper part of the waist is the wonky part. Bust is fine, lower waist is fine, upper waist feels tighter than the rest and it's just... odd. Your mileage may vary, but i've never had this issue with another dress like this in the past. Oh well... that's for my husband's tailor to figure out, i guess. As far as washing goes, this is a delicate material so either wash on delicate or hand wash and dry on low to no heat. The manufacturer says to dry flat, but hang drying or fluff-air drying works fine too.

Brands often overlook xs sizes, so I was excited to find this dress available in my size. I'm not sure what size I actually received, but it definitely wasn't an XS. It looked terrible on me. The print is cute, but I can't comment on the fit since it was way too big. The neckline and sleeves were also oversized, so I can't provide feedback on those either.

I am 5 foot four, 115 pounds for reference and the size small fits me just right. The extra small would have been too tight and I possibly could have sized up to a medium, but I am happy with the size I chose. It isn’t super roomy through the bust and midsection, but I was so glad to see that it wasn’t too short being that on the model it lands pretty high above the knee. I didn’t know if I would love the ruffle sleeve, but somehow it actually lands pretty well and is quite flattering. I like the drape, flow and swing of this dress—very cute and fun to wear!

This dress is stylish with a kind of coastal vibe to it, a decent length that isn't too short, and has great ruffle short sleeves that still give the appearance of not being a sleeveless dress while still providing the *feel* of one for hot days. I am dressing it up a bit with a waist belt to cinch in for more shape, but it didn't look bad without it either. True to size.

Wished this had a size chart on its Amazon product page. It felt like I was choosing blindly, based on looking at the Amazon product photos and the reviews. I chose the size Large since the 1st photo made this dress look quite short on the model. But the subsequent photos made its hem longer. I really wasn't sure. Glad that it did fit me in person and that the hem ended about my knees like the other model photos. This dress is on the cusp of being too tight on my petite mango-shaped figure with a small bust & short torso and mama belly that fits a size L-XL or 14. When my posture's correct, this dress looks slimming on me. But when I'm kinda slouching, then my mama belly shows in the middle. I'm glad that this dress has some layers and that I don't look like a wedding cake. The denim color and its design is thanks to that. Love how the rayon, polyester, & spandex materials feels soft, cooling, & comfy on my sensitive skin.Recommended.
