Volens Silver Votive Candle Holders, Mercury Glass Tealight Candle Holder Set of 12 for Wedding Decor and Home Decor

I had an original set (maybe 5 yrs old) but could not get the same ones. These are slightly different in that although they are gold on the outside, they are silver on the inside. I was concerned at first if they'd look as good but in actuality they're identical in size and external finish to my older set and with LED Flickering Votive lights, they look awesome. Very impressed with them. I have to be upfront, I've no intention of using these with candles. Partly because of the heat that candles produce and could cause the glass to get hot and damage a wood table surface. The other part is that with LED flickering votives, the light produced is very, very realistic and using tea lights or votive lights is simply not necessary. I've tried and compared them... LED wins today. Very pleased with purchase and simply love the elegance of the gold votive holders with true flickering LED lights. The glass is as thick as my old set. They are chunky and well made.

These sturdy little candle holders are great! I used them as decorations for our wedding and as wedding favors. I was pleasantly surprised by their simple elegance and thickness--exactly the classy but understated look I was going for, plus durability and versatility so we can reuse them for other occasions in the future. The holders were packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. When I felt the strength and weight of the glass, I immediately stopped worrying about my sister's toddler grabbing one and harming it or himself before anyone could catch him during the reception. I added standard LED tea lights, and the holders covered up the bases so you couldn't tell they weren't real candles unless you stood directly over them. At the same time, the holders allowed a good amount of light to shine through from the "flames"--which, again, you couldn't tell were fake. These ended up being one of the best purchases I made for our wedding decor. Highly recommended!

These are a very pretty set for a fair price. Load them up with colored, long-burn candles, and they can become just short of magical. With the taller candles and moving air in the room, they cast a continually moving shimmer across the room. The reason for this, and what they don't tell you in the description, is that the inside of these holders are metalized, and highly reflective. As such, they throw a cone of the dominant light shade reflected into the room, and that, is what can make them next to magical. 1) Use a slightly taller candle (double-height tea lights work) 2) Make sure it's brightly colored 3) Make sure you have air moving in the room I use all 12 at a time in my bedroom for my wife and I, and they make a soft, but lovely light show.

Nice votives in two sizes. Worked well for wedding tables at reasonable price.

I ordered these metallic gold voltive glasses for a special occasion; gold voltive glasses were surprisingly difficultto find. They arrived individually bubble-wrapped in a cardboard box with dividers in perfect shape. They are clear glass voltive glasses coated on the outside with metallic gold in a random rubbed-looked non-pattern. The gold doesn't rub or flake off, but I also didn't purposely scratch them nor would I put them in the dishwasher or microwave. They fit my voltive candelabra well and the voltive candles fit inside them. They looked great on my table during our party; I will definitely use them on other special occasions in the future.

These Volens votive candles holders are absolutely beautiful and well made. The color is a perfect gold and will be a nice accent to a champagne sequin table runner! I think the round ones look cute, I may need to order them too! All of mine arrived intact and before the expected date! They came very well packaged with each votive in bubble wrap with cardboard dividers between them. Just like in the pictures on the website! I highly recommend !!

This is a great product. I gave them as gifts at Christmas and received a lot of compliments on them.
