Great scope value for money but UK lead supplied is Dangerous
After a weeks wait was great to finally get my hands on my New Hanmatek scope, after unpacking the scope and the probes I came across the lead supplied by Hanmatek for it to be used in the UK. Under no circumstances use this lead it's a fake UK adapter, and information has been passed on the relative authorities, the lead says 10A on it, and its not fused the sleave for the earth pin is partly shrouded, therfore ommiting contact if it was inserted into a UK 3 pin socket, as its not fused, only protection is from the 32A main, and that won't trip due to the earth pin not connecting to ground at all. The manual says max 3A and I've had to order from Amazon a genuine kettle lead as the Brits call them. I've relayed my worries a cross to Hanmatek and been fobbed off, they don't seem to be bothered about the dangers of their fake UK plug, leads. Anyway the scope is beautiful easy to set up and has function for self calibrate once the scope has acclimatised to its surroundings, readings are clear, the math button is a cool feature for FFT. I have a anologue 20 Meg scope 2 channel, and the new Hanmatek scope is a great addition to my bench, its light weight, and very slim, so if you don't have a lot of space on your bench the scope is well suited for small bench setups, it's very quiet, only noise you can hear are from the relays ki King in when you Auto setup the scope. Screen is very clear and with all the added functions incorporated in this scope, it sits with, and may surpass even higher Scopes imo, All in all great buy, but if your from UK the lead needs changing do not use its unsafe, and not worth your life if you use it. Amazon needs to address this issue. As someone that's not ever bought a scope and want one as a first scope, it's brilliant, but please DO NOT USE THIS LEAD SUPPLIED.

Nice simple basic storage oscilloscope that does the job perfectly... with some small limitations...
My old CRT Scope exploded spectacularly and I needed something modern to replace it. This little gem fitted the bill perfectly, and was a much better spec as well as being about a quarter of the size ;) The 110MHz Bandwidth is more than adequate for repairing your basic retro-items like old Commodore or Spectrum Computers and the sampling and storage facilities will definitely help when it comes to diagnosing timings. The results can be saved to USB so sharing that information on your favourite forum is a breeze. As for the basic operations, as soon as you turn it on, following a splash-screen, you are taken straight to the main scope display. It comes with two well-made probes, both with a x1/x10 switchable function and the menu on the scope allows you to accurately select which probe you are using so that the resulting waveform will be correct. Adjusting the x10 probe compensation is a breeze but you will need a non-metallic adjustment tool... anybody who does radio work will understand why ;) At first I was confused at how to adjust the frequency display but turning the "scale" knob sort that one out, and if you can get your head around adding functions to the display then you can have the frequency displayed on-screen... which is really useful when playing with clock timings on retro computers ;) Trigger levels can be adjusted for rising / falling edge and selecting which channel to be used as a trigger is a simple menu function. Turning channels on and off requires a couple of presses of the channel select button but no biggie there. Over all this is a nice little entry-level scope and well worth the money for anybody who is thinking of buying a nice basic "gets the job done" scope for their workshop or who are first starting out using an oscilloscope. Working your way around the menus takes some patience and at times does not seem to be an intuitive process but sticking with the manual and experimenting will get you there, it isn't difficult... just not exactly as you would expect a menu to work. That apart, this is a lovely little scope and I would highly recommend it to both first-time users and to anybody who just needs a basic 110MHz bandwidth scope to do basic signal tracing and sampling, and if you are into repairing those retro items then this scope will be just perfect for you, and will take up almost no room on your bench. The 5v Power Supply will also cut down the cost on your electric bill as well ;) Highly recommend, go for it, treat yourself ;)

Very good for a cheap scope
Very impressed with the features, the leads look good quality & for the price, it's a no brainer. the down side: the trace is a bit noisy, & less than 100% accurate, but for audio fault finding & setup it's good enough

Oscilloscope 100Mhz Hanmatek DOS1102
Decent oscilloscope for the price. USB power supply it is very handy, it's not heavy, it is mobile which is good. The test probes are okay. Still working well after few years of occasionaly use. I didn't tested/used the max frequency, I went maybe up to 20MHz. When I need an oscilloscope I have one ready to use.

Reliable workhorse
It's as good as my trusty old 40MHz analogue 'scope, with the added advantage of additional maths functions. The menu structure is logical, and whilst not as convenient as the 'knob a function' of the old 'scope, it does make for a less cluttered control panel. Vertical and horizontal display accuracy is good, but I question the accuracy of the RMS voltage measurement as it over indicates. e.g 775mV @1kHz as measured on my audio millivoltmeter will indicate something like 850mV. Triggering is very good, and has split triggering so both traces will trigger even if they're of different frequencies. Overall, a very useful instrument, at a decent price.

It looks capable.
Won't give a rating yet haven't used it. But I will be back when I have.

Clear display and good value.
Great size, clear screen. Enough buttons, knobs control to feel like Lab equipment. Planning raspberry pi projects and from initial tests looks more than up for the job. Good value I feel, sturdy product and feels well put together.

A extremely good quality entry level scope
My Scope arrived very quickly from Amazon and was well packaged inside an outer transportation box. The Scope comes in a brown box but is marked with the manufacturers name and model number. The scope comes well packed in soft poly bag and poly inserts to protect it during transportation. Also in the box you get two good quality probes including accessories (adjuster screwdriver and coloured interchangeable markers for the two probes) You get a CD to use to connect to your laptop, a full fused UK power lead, a two pin EU power lead along with a USB lead with a USB Type A to USB Type B connectors. You get a quick start guide and another guide with the probes. The scope starts in around 20 seconds seems quite straight forward to use even for a complete novice like myself. Overall well worth buying at what is an extremely reasonable price for what you get 10/10
