Noticeably harder than normal chewing gum, but not as hard as specially jaw exercising kinds. Works well as a wet dental wax replacement for braces & such do to being harder.. Favor is short lasting & a bit mineraly, if you have ever tasted mastic you know the flavor. Don't get this unless you are geeking about its potential oral health benefits.

I guess the easiest way to describe it is the Bazooka Joe gum of the healthy gum world. I am a gym gum chomper, and this would get me through a couple sets. This stuff starts soft and has a great taste, but it gets hard fast (not going there). I may try the regular versus the sugar free to change my mind, but this review is for this version.

Great gym. I chew it while I workout. It loses flavor kinda quick but that doesn’t bother me. I do it for the jaw pump!

The taste and texture are awful. Like you’re chewing rubber and the taste as well.

The gum does have a distinct medicinal taste. But if you get over it, it actually is fine. The bad: We received only 10 pieces of gum instead of 50. After leaving a less than positive review, I was contacted by the seller who offered me a refund. They acted professionally and promptly reimbursed me. Now the good: It has lasting flavor (maybe 20 minutes) and it does seem to work to relax the stomach and even seems to have slight oral anesthetic properties. The gum doesn't crumble or disintegrate in the mouth in cold weather like 100% natural gum does, probably because of the gum base, keeping it elastic even when your jaw gets tired of chewing

I was curious about the Supersmart Mastic Gum Chewing Gum ELMA, but it didn’t end up being something I’d buy again. I like the idea of using Chios mastic gum for oral hygiene, and the ingredients are clean and simple, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The texture was the biggest issue for me. The gum starts out extremely tough, and even after chewing for a while, it never gets particularly soft. It felt more like working out my jaw than actually enjoying gum. The menthol flavor is strong at first, but it fades very quickly. Within a couple of minutes, it turns into a bland, almost resin-like taste that isn’t pleasant. While I do believe mastic gum has some benefits for dental health, the format here just isn’t very user friendly. It also loses its chewability fast enough that I couldn’t keep it in my mouth for long, which defeats the purpose. The product is sugar free, non GMO, and gluten free, which is great, but those positives don’t make up for the uncomfortable chewing experience. Overall, it’s an interesting concept with good ingredients, but the texture and flavor make it hard to enjoy. I wanted to like it more, but it just wasn’t practical for daily use.
