I've always struggled with shoulder tension and pain, to the point that exercising would sometimes hurt because of all the tension I had in my upper body. I came to the realization that trying to have proper posture actually hurt and it was difficult for me to maintain my shoulders pulled back for more than a few minutes. So, I thought I would give this posture corrector a go, not expecting much but hoping to see at least some progress. At first, I wore the brace for hours at a time while working or around the house. However, I did get tired of that just because I felt a little restricted at times and it is noticeable. So, I started using it just during walks and while cycling on my stationary bike. Of course, if I notice that I feel tense in my shoulders at any point of the day, I'll put it on as well. It helps tremendously because you don't have to constantly remind yourself to pull your shoulders back while wearing it. The results for me are probably not visible to anyone else, but I'm very pleased. I can pull my shoulders back without pain. I have less pain while exercising. I have less pain during the day. I notice myself sitting with better posture at my desk too, even without the brace. I hope to see continuous improvement as I keep wearing the brace. But, so far, I am really happy! A few takeaways for me on this product: 1) It is not an immediate fix. You have to wear the brace often, and I would recommend almost every day for at least an hour. This is to help you create the habit of having good posture. The more you wear it, the more likely you will start to see a difference in your posture. 2) The velcro straps should not be on your rib cage, but further down towards your abdomen. You want it to be tight, but not so tight that you can't breathe. How you adjust the brace makes a huge difference, so you may have to play around with it until you get it right. 3) If you want to wear it to work or during daily activities when you don't want other people to notice, I recommend putting the brace on over your undershirt or a light tee shirt with at least short sleeves so you don't have any chaffing. Then, put on your button down or a cardigan, something that isn't so tight that you can see the brace underneath. All in all, it has been a game changer for my posture, so much so that I decided to write this review after several months. ( I think this is my first review ever too!)

This brace has gotten me through so rough days until my spine dr can figure out what is going on with my thoracic area/chronic nerve pain. I’ve been a nail tech for 24+ years and my posture is horrible. It’s not super comfortable but you have to pick your battles.

I have wanted this for years because I hate it when I slump over. Finally purchased which was long over due and I am not disappointed. Of course like all things, a matter of getting use to. The shoulder straps are a bit tight but I find that if I slide them a bit off my shoulders, much more comfortable. Also, the material is soft enough to wear right on the skin if going outside...Everyone I am sure will have some discomfort as your body is adjusting to a new position...I only wish that I had purchased years ago...

It really helped my back although I had to return it because it hurt my anterior shoulder last at my arm pits. Seems like the straps was a little wide and bunched at my armpit area. Overall though it really did help my back.
