Worked well straight off the bat
I’m very happy with this little treasure. I didn’t make any adjustments out of the box, it was set to the rounding that I wanted. If you’re not choosy, just leave the adjustments alone. The blade has stayed sharp. I don’t think it would be possible to sharpen, but for the price, I assume I’ll be buying another one when the time comes. It’s a tiny little thing, which is what Inwas after. The others were too big and the product got in the way of the wood. Ideal for inside a frame where the wood underneath is very shallow. 10/10.

I thought it was a toy but it is a real plane
When I first got the package I was surprised at how small it was then when I thought about it it only cost five dollars or maybe a little bit less I tested it right out of the box or out of the plastic bag and it literally did the job it was supposed to basically did a round over if you saw the picture of when I got it shows that the block plane is about 4 1/2 inches long and the next picture thatI showed was a picture of the shavings that it created right out of the package this has been an amazing tool to learn on how to operate and dial it in really nice little planeOnce I learned how to dial everything inNow I’m gathering up materials so I can make one obviously a little bit bigger

Best tool for the price. Much easier to use than router.
Best tool to round the edges. Very easy to use and adjust the blade depth. Just have to tap the blade lightly with a small light hammer till you get the right depth. Also one important tip - always run it along the wood grain for the best results.

Not worth the time
The wood is nice. The blade is not so nice it’s it was not usable out of the box and it’s still not usable. The wedge doesn’t stay in, it comes right out so the blade doesn’t stay in either and I have no way to really sharpen the blade. After looking over closely even if I was to get the blade up to the correct sharpness I’m not sure if it would function as I had thought it would.

Not for hobbyist
Designed like an old wood plan with a wood wedge to hold the blade. More experienced wood workers would have no problem adjusting this plane. Hobbyist like me had a hard time getting the depth set correctly. I ended up returning the product.

Great Little Plane
I bought this to chamfer my hardwood cutting boards. It worked great. It did take some manual adjustment to get it just right. I just tapped it with a hammer and tested it on a scrap piece. Be mindful to watch your grain direction when using for best results.
