What a wonderful idea! They are like giant twisty ties from garbage or bread bags! But they hold their shape and can be reused for who knows how long. So far over 6 months! My husband uses them to anchor fishing poles to his fishing cart so that when we get to the fishing spot everything is already set up and ready to go. We drive to the beach with the poles twist-tied down and then just push the cart to the water and it’s all ready to go!

Quite disappointed because I thought the 8 pack was in the assorted colors as shown -- 2 each of 4 different colors. Instead, I got two packs of 4: one red and the other black. I really wanted at least 3 different colors. So buyer beware: Assorted Colors means you have no idea what colors you'll get.

These were perfect for what I needed. Kept a pesky gate from always coming open. This was strong enough to keep it closed and super easy to remove to open

I have these around my son's electric drum kit to make a hook for his amp cable and his headphones. they are the perfect size and strength for this. They don't really get rubbed so I cant say how long the foam part will stay perfect. They also arn't holding much weight or being tied and untied they just hang there in a custom wrapped hook. there is good amount of strength to the wire inside. I think I might try to find these in a dark color to help hold things onto our Christmas tree next year :)

Good idea, but a bit squishy and the inner stiff wire doesn't seem quite firm enough.

I am recovering from left shoulder surgery and used this today attached to my seat belt to pull it over to my right hand. Works great!
