A perfect replacement
Replaces an eight year old rechargeable battery for a Kaito emergency radio. Fits good in the allotted slot, and works great. Take charge from the sun. I'd recommend this battery.

Fits perfectly and lasts for hours
The old battery finally died after years of faithful duty. I use the rechargeable battery as my main power source and use the alkaline as a backup. At the end, the battery would keep the radio going for 20 minutes or so and I knew it was time to replace it. I expect this one to last another 6 or 7 years.

Solar cell on Eton appears to charge it.
So far so good. I have not had it but a week in my old Eton, which I was ready to “deep six” for not being able to hold a charge overnight. My normal routine would be to fully changes this from an adapter, but I just replaced the battery (simple plug/play) stuck it on a window sill that gets full sun for at least 3 hrs a day, and wham... the clock is keeping time again and the radio plays. It worked. The old battery was no less than 8 years old, so I wasn’t expecting much. Will update after our first power failure.

Placement radio battery
I bought the radio used and I'm glad I bought a new battery it has extended life over the other battery the cool feature about that the old battery can be used for backups If you have an emergency radio I highly recommend you have emergency backup power
