I used this rca to hdmi switch to connect my old game systems to my hd tv. Works great. Wish it upconverted the signal to HD, which it does not. but that's ok. Still looks great to me. It definitely does not feel cheap. Its body is made of metal and feels like quality. The included hdmi cord is way too short and definitely could be twice the length. The included control is a great feature.

The image quality is good and clear but the images sort of jumps every now and then.

I needed to connect 2 DVD player stereo systems another basic DVD player and a VCR to my new smart tv. It worked well and the remote is an added convenience. Quite satisfied.

So I bought this to be able to connect some of my old retro gaming consoles through hdmi and I have to say that it works! Plug and play and the remote makes switching easy! I can recommend this to anyone else looking for an av to hdmi out solution!

Using GameCube, I have been having an issue where the sound drops out and returns at random. The periods of no sound become longer. I have unplugged and plugged back in: the HDMI, the RCA, this device, the GameCube, and turned off and on these systems and the television. I have tried using different inputs (1, 2, 3, etc) and changing the "channel" on the remote, as well as different volume settings on the TV and different aspect ratios (mentioned in another review). Nothing has fixed this glitch. The product description states "Please contact the seller's customer service , if you have any questions" but does not provide contact information. I intend to return this product if I am unable to resolve this issue.
