After a back injury, (skydiving? nope gardening, old age the gift that keeps on giving) I was unable to move for over three months without being in horrendous pain from a slipped disk. I read through a lot of reviews for back braces and decided to take a punt on this as I didn't want to break the bank as well as my back (again). I am so glad I did; it has given me a lot more mobility just doing mundane tasks that I previously took for granted and helps a great deal with the pain of movement. A word of advice as other reviewers have commented take the cushion out, it gets very uncomfortable after a while where it applies pressure directly to the lower back which is where I injured myself.

Does relieve back pain

Immediate relief from what I believe is a herniated disc (had before). Have other spinal problems too and was very close on several days to not being able to walk (or even stand). It seems very well made and is not too uncomfortable, certainly standing and walking is fine; sitting is a little uncomfortable however I will tolerate this as sitting without a support belt at all is agony. Its a warm day today and doesn't feel too hot. I am hoping wearing it for a few weeks will return my back to its "normal" unstable self - but at least I can usually walk and carry out tasks. Have spent the last 4/5 days in total agony unable to do anything and before this the back was bad for a couple of weeks so expect recovery in approx 4-6 weeks time.

I worked as a full time gardener, so constantly on my hands and knees and my lower back takes a bashing daily.I was advised to purchase a lower back brace to help support my posture and prevent future issues and pain.I have been wearing/using it now for about a month, wanted to test it before leaving a review.It certainly helps, can be made as snug as you need, I wear it quite low on my back and I love the removable pressure point mould feature which I can feel working when I’m weeding and clearing.Not terribly comfortable to drive in but you get used to it. It’s a relief when I take it off, so you know it’s definitely holding you in all the right places..Overall it’s perfect for manual work where you have to do a lot of bending and lifting. I would be in a lot more pain if I wasn’t using it, that’s for certain.

Had it on soon as i got it. This thing is amazing.2nd day today and it feels like i never had the lower back ache.For lower back ache, i highly recommend this.
