When I first received this picture frame set, I thought I had received the wrong item. But after reading more reviews, it turns out you have to put the frame together. First, every frame came in excellent condition, with no breaks or scratches. Second, this was the easiest thing to put together and it seems quite sturdy. The frames seem like genuine wood, and look great. I had previously purchased another frame collage that came assembled for my first son, for his newborn pictures and that was made of plastic and glass. This one will be for my second sons newborn pictures. Overall, this was a great purchase.

You do have to put together. Directions are good. Matches picture well. Worth buying.

I love these photo frames, even though they require self-assembly. I assembled them with my kids (12 and 9), and it wasn’t hard to put them together. Each frame is numbered, and the instructions include an illustration showing where each frame should go. It took us about 20 minutes to assemble. We followed the illustration, aligned the frames, inserted the wooden dowels into the holes, and screwed them together. I especially love that each frame has its own individual back cover. You don’t need to remove the entire back cover to replace just one photo. The photo frames themselves are beautiful and of good quality.

The number one thing that was stalling me from buying this frame was that A LOT of the reviews said it was difficult to assemble. BUT I found it super easy to assemble. The frames are labeled very clearly, and the instructions made complete sense. It may have taken me a half hour - and that included finding a screw driver, deciding where all the pictures would go, and my mis-hap of having to flip all of the pictures because they were all upside down to be able to hang it on the wall. I put the pictures in the frames before assembling, thinking that I wouldn't be able to access the back hatch of some of the frames since they overlap. THIS WAS AN UNNECESSARY STEP. You can 100% access all of the picture hatches of the frames after assembling. That would have been helpful information to have in advance. It was exactly the kind of frame I was looking for, and it was a gift for a friend's birthday. I found it to be a good quality frame, but I deducted one star because some of the paint chipped during the assembly process. It was minor and I was able to fill it in with a Sharpie marker but it was a bit annoying.

This photo frame is perfect; it looks spectacular in my living room and is very good quality. I love it because I can display many photos in one place, and the quality and price are excellent. I definitely recommend it so your living room can look as beautiful as mine.

The frames were easier than expected to assemble. The individual photos frames were lighter and sturdier also. The black frames were an eye catcher in our freshly painted Hallway picture wall! Well done!!!

Not difficult but considerable assembly required...

I was disappointed when the box came and I realized that I had to assemble the collage but it was very well constructed and the instructions were excellent so in the long run, was was glad to put it together for a much better product than what I expected.

Nos gustó tanto como quedó que habíamos comprado ya seis unidades y ahora tenemos 10, lucen en geniales en casa. Puedes colocar tus fotos favoritas y tenerlas a la vista para disfrutar por largo rato. Requiere armado pero sencillo con un destornillador eléctrico.

It comes in pieces and you have to assemble it!!

I like the solid feel of this frame and the clip system for holding pictures is decent
