Good product, picky cat enjoys them but I find they are a bit on the expensive side. But money has no boundaries when it’s for your fur baby

My cats love these, but they recently changed the packaging and I’m not sure if it’s just that this new bag design won’t stay sealed, if it’s a flimsier material, or if they’ve also changed the recipe but my most recent product quickly went stale. In the past it was crumbly and easy to use as a topper, now it’s a little brick. Not sure if I’ll give it another try or move to another brand.

takes 5 nuggets to make 1.05 ounce, not 3 1/2 as listed. 1 ounce worth of nuggets is only 161 calories worth of food, which is not enough calories for most regular sized 8-10lb cats.. therefore one 5.5oz bag only lasts not even 4 days if you only feed this to your cat.. that's 7.5-8 bags of food a month per cat needed which will cost $112.42 thru $120 per cat. unfortunately that is not feasible for most cat owners who often have 2 or more cats :( . So our cats will only be getting 1/3 of the daily servings because most do like it (as long as i sprinkle fortiflora on top, that goes for all non can foods) and i want to feed them close to raw as i can but, not go broke doing so. and yes, it would be cheaper to make our own raw food but, i don't trust the meats in our area one bit to feed them to my cats raw, hence why we are thankful foods like primal are available but, do wish they were more affordable for multi-cat homes. Due to price of only 5.5oz of this brand, we have decided to start trying out stella & chewy's freeze-dried raw before deciding whether to keep purchasing more primal or not. the S&C comes out cheaper per ounce (like 70 cents less per) when buying 12oz bags and so far their chicken salmon is liked as well but, our old cats seem to prefer primal version better.

This food is the greatest. My finicky cat wouldn't touch the regular raw frozen food, and frankly it smelled awful to me so I don't blame her. And it was a nuisance also, with thawing, serving it cold (which she doesn't like), throwing it out if she didn't eat it all at once, etc. But this freeze-dried food is a huge hit with both me and my kitty! She used to be a grazer, even with canned food, she'd eat a little at a time over many hours. With the Primal, it's all gone immediately! I don't know whether that's because she really likes it, or whether on an instinctual level she recognizes that it is raw and should be eaten the same way she would eat a mouse in the wild. Who knows. Also, I'm using diluted tuna juice to hydrate the nuggets so that might be helping with her enthusiasm for the food. I'm hoping to see some improvement in her bowels (she has chronic inflammatory bowel disease) from this healthy diet but it has only been a couple of days so I don't know about that yet. Even if it doesn't help with that, I feel good about giving her such healthy food! UPDATE: After 6 days on this food, my kitty is having normal movements once a day (that's down from 2-3 times per day of the runs). It seems to have cured her IBD. I just couldn't be more happy with this product. The one and only downside is, it has turned my cat into a beggar every time I walk into the kitchen she cries for food! I can live with that!

It wasn’t exactly what I expected period. But I don’t think it was misrepresented. I just never ordered it before, but I give it a try. And unfortunately my cats didn’t like it. I don’t know why my cats don’t like a lot of foods. I am sure it’s good quality, my cats just won’t eat it.
