My chihuahua LOVES food and after being neutered the weight slowly piled on, even though he continued to be very active. Reducing food didn’t work and other diet kibbles had no effect. I have an Alaskan Klee Kai and following her spaying gained weight. I cut her food (BARF) to negligible amount but still she continued to gain weight. The vet suggested this satiety food and Amazon was far cheaper than getting at the vets. It smells very appealing considering it is flavourless. Initially, she was keen then after a couple days went off it. However, mixing 50% with a little commercial dog meat, she gulps it down. After two weeks she has lost 0.5kg which is a relief, for months now I have weighed her every two weeks and this is the very first time she has lost weight instead of gained. I fully recommend it for weight control but be careful to read the feeding guidance on the rear of the packet and adjust to the individual dog's requirements.

She has been on this food for 3 weeks & with gentle exercise she has lost 400g already. This is good quality food as even her coat has improved massively. Great value for money on the 3kg bag and you can set up a subscribe and save which is even better. Nutrition value is great as I have noticed she is not always looking for food as much now she is on this. On the back of the bag it comes with clear instructions on how much to feed you dog to get them to a certain weight.
