I use BIC mechanical pencils almost exclusively but the hard plastic can get a little rough on my fingers. I found a Bic pencil called Velocity that has a rubberized thing on the end of the pencil, making it so much more comfortable, but it's also a lot more expensive. When I found a 24 pack of regular BIC pencils at Target for just over $3--I couldn't pass it up--but now I have pencils that hurt my hands. Then I found these little pencil grips! They are a tad tight on the plastic pencil but I made a small snip on one end and it's enough to allow the grip to slide onto the pencil. Because these are mechanical pencils, they don't have to be sharpened so you never have to slide the grip up and down--it stays just where it is until it falls apart. And so far, they are holding up nicely. They're soft and squishy and I love the bright colors--such a little thing can mean a lot when your hands hurt!

This helps us grip our stylus’s much better when scrolling on the internet or playing games. Comfortable and stops slipping and stylus from falling then rolling out of sight.

These are very comfortable. They only get 4 stars from me solely due to the fact they are relatively difficult to apply and position on your writing instruments. Even on simple mechanical pencils I struggled to get them to fit. This was frustrating and disappointing since they are colorful and feel good to use if you can get them on.

Good grips, don't slide. Also, by increasing pencil's width it keeps my pencils from rolling into the space between my piano's keyboard cover and the piano innards which is why I bought them!

I couldn't get them on a very thin mechanical pencil (not the type with the clicker on the side or anything. It's actually thinner than a #2 pencil.). I also could not get them on regular Bic pens. I tried everything: the lotion trick where you put lotion on the barrel of the pen/pencil and then slide on a grip (this works fine for sticky-types but did not work for this at all). I tried the roll the top and bottom part down to meet in the middle and forcefully shove the remaining grip onto the device and then unfurl trick. But it would not budge far enough up the pen or pencil shaft to do this. I could unfurl the top but then the bottom came down all the way to the writing part of the pen/pencil. Nothing worked. Fifteen minutes of arguing with one on multiple devices and I stabbed myself inadvertently with the mechanical pencils (right in the palm!) and I gave up. I'll donate these and see if some other person has better luck. Somehow I do not recall this being an issue when I was a child and used to use these. Maybe these are just inordinately thin I'm not sure, but this is ridiculous.

These fit school pencils perfectly. They are soft, durable, and after writing for a few hours, they have prevented callous or blisters from developing. The grip is good, they don’t slide down after writing for a few hours like some other ones do. I’ll be purchasing more when needed.

These are super tight on the pencil, it's hard to put them on, and very hard to adjust them to sharpen. I ended up taking them off. They are comfortable to hold, just impractical with how much work it takes to get them on and off to sharpen.

I bought these for my granddaughter, she was writing a lot at school and her fingers were getting sore. I lucked out buying these soft grips, they solved the problem, no more sore fingers. I recommend these, they're made well.

Its just u need to little grease pencil with oil to slide it on pencil

They were too big for a normal standard size pencil. Can’t use it . I got other colors then what I ordered and that was in the picture advertised. Very disappointed. Don’t buy it, waste of money!
