Why would you market this as Taliban gear when it’s not?

Great point and accurate. These are mainly worn by the Pashtuns of the 13 tribes in the area between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Unfortunately this is also the hub of the Taliban. Briefly The cap is ancient Pashtun gear and nothing else. Recently Kate and William wore them when they visited Northern Pakistan. Hope this helps
