Been using this for a whole month now goes on a little waxy to start with but after 2/3 minutes it seems to soak into my skin have to be honest it’s a great product using it daily and will be buying more

All natural face, body cream made with beef tallow and honey - Works nice on rough skin. I was a bit sceptical when seeing this as this seem to be a much sought after skin/face regime product that seems to work wonders on dry, scaley and itchy skin yet using natural products. We decided to get some of this for to see if the hype and description met real world use. The smell is not what I expected, just smelled of natural type expensive lotion so glad for that. The jar is also great size and was good to see that even a little went a long way. It is very easy to apply, gets absorbed quickly and feels like just a good skin and face lotion. What I have noticed that on several areas that we used to test that had dry skin as well as some with dry/itchy that after a few days of use, these areas were improved, felt nicer and less itchy and will see with long term usage.

I tried this beef tallow and honey balm face moisturizer without knowing much about tallow-based skincare. After looking it up, I learned that beef tallow is rendered cow fat, commonly used in cooking, soap, and candle making. From the product pictures, I expected a white cream, but the actual texture is more like a balm—firm and waxy, similar to lip balm. When applied to my face, it felt very greasy and just sat on my skin without absorbing. It didn’t provide a moisturizing or hydrating feel, and it made my skin feel suffocated, like my pores were blocked. On my body, it didn’t feel as oily, but it still wasn’t very moisturizing. Maybe it just doesn’t suit my sensitive skin, but unfortunately, I didn’t like it.

This cream is great - I love how rich it is. I find it easy to apply and I love the texture - as it is whipped it is quite lightweight. But, being tallow, it is still saturated enough to have a bit of greasiness to it. You don't see it but it feels like the skin might leave greasy marks if I touch more delicate fabrics like silk. I love the cream but you have to apply it in good time before night-time so that you can wash it off and not stain your bedding. I don't think it would do so massively, but I'd rather make sure. It is excellent on spots where the skin is drier (if, like me, you suffer with eczema). Love the cream.

Tallow based moisturisers have become incredibly popular in this house, and little pots of it have started popping up everywhere, so there is usually a pot on hand. Most of them, are pretty much all the same stuff, made by the same company, and with the same main four ingredients just with different packaging. This one is slightly different in that it has added olive olive oil, and apparently aloe. To be honest, we've not really noticed any discernible difference in performance between this one and all others. That is to say very good, but no better, and no worse. I use it to help with my chapped lips, my wife uses it on a sore irritated patch of skin of her ankle and as a general moisturiser, and my house mate swears by this on her tattoos. It's great in all cases, and unlike a lot moisturisers, this stuff practically melts into the skin, and doesn't leave any kind of greasiness. It's got a barely perceptible smell, and what smell it has isn't unpleasant. Although you probably wouldn't want to, it's technically edible given the ingredient list, but doesn't taste of much at all, and again what little taste it has isn't unpleasant. My initial worry was that this is more expensive than the moisturisers and chap sticks we were all using before, and now we're all using it, I didn't think it would last long, but it turns a tiny bit does go a very long way, so looks like it'll turn out to be good value after all.
