It’s very user-friendly and walks you through each function step by step. While you do need to know a bit about your car, the scanner provides clear and helpful information—and even suggests fixes for problems it finds. I brought it with me to check out a used vehicle, and I’m so glad I did. My old $49 scanner wouldn’t have caught half the issues this one did. It scanned the full system—engine, transmission, BCM—and found problems that helped me decide not to buy the car. That alone saved me thousands. Yes, it’s a little slow when doing a full scan, but the results are worth the wait. This tool does things most home mechanics can’t normally do—like releasing brakes for service on newer cars, recalibrating sensors, and even programming key fobs. It does things pro mechanics pay thousands per year to access. For the price . It feels solid, it is professional equipment, and comes with 2 years free updates. I absolutely love this thing—worth every penny!

This is a fantastic scanner regardless of the price. I had the CRP919E wired version and loved it so much I wanted to upgrade to the wireless version. I’m glad I did, the wireless version does not disappoint. I love the amount of service resets, Toyota customization options, the speed it works including Chrome and the list goes on. It has Chrome installed and actually works very well. I find that often the web browser will be slow on some scan tools but this I find very useful for accessing my service manuals. It’s super easy to toggle between the diagnostic software and Chrome which a lot of other tools can’t easily do. I have a lot of other scan tools and this is my go to scanner now. It was cheaper than a 1 year software update for my other expensive tool and does just as much if not more in some ways as it has some key programming. Plus this has a two year subscription included. I always try to keep a scanner with an active subscription handy for Autoauth. This also has CAN FD and I used it this past week to do the rear brakes on a 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500. The Silverado has an electric parking brake, needed the parking brake calibration done and reset the brake pad life. It worked flawlessly. This past week I also used it on a 2018 Subaru Outback to put the electric parking brake in service mode, worked fantastic. The video clip is showing putting the Subaru parking brake in service position. This also works on our JDM Toyota bB. The size is great and the battery life is excellent. One other nice little feature is you can use the camera to read the VIN if it doesn’t detect the VIN via OBD. The PID graphing on these is also great. You can have separate graphs or overlay them. This works great with FCA, Chrysler Autoauth and apparently does Nissan and Mercedes Autoauth but I haven’t come across those vehicles that need it yet. Autoauth is needed for most 2018 and newer Chrysler products to clear fault codes, read live data or perform active tests and service actions. This is a very affordable tool for shops keeping up to date on a budget for this. I’ve had to rescue a couple shops with my 919E that didn’t have Autoauth, I run a mobile mechanic/diagnostics business. Highly recommended tool for shops, advanced do it yourselfers or back yard mechanics. I honestly can’t really think of any cons. My new favourite scan tool and I have a few.

Nice compact full function scan tool. This is my first Launch tool and the software is easy to navigate. This tool is a powerhouse for both DIY people and for the pro. It's perfect and affordable for the DIY person. I like that you can download apps with playstore something I can't do with my other tools. I have an oscilloscope app on mine. I also have other apps like YouTube and some automotive apps. Along with the browser, it's a power house of a tool👍
