Great quality compact, many, many features (most of which I will probably never use!) but works very well on auto and feels nice and solid construction. Great optical zoom capability, with extra digital zoom if needed. Flip screen is nice and clear. Battery charges 'in camera' via USB, so no need to remove it (unlike my previous camera)

I'm a novice camera user and wanted a camera I could use for distance shots. Point and zoom, basically. This camera does that and it's compactness was perfect for me. Whilst not all the pictures turned out as well as I would have liked, I'll put that down to user error and not yet reading the manual. I can't speak to the battery life, as I didn't use the camera often, due to the rainy weather at the location, but I'm happy with the camera quality overall. I was surprised that the price did not include a case, but it's been many years since I last bought a camera so, maybe, I should have remembered to lower my expectations. I bought one separately.

Great little camera with more functions than I’ll ever need. Still getting to grips with the array of things available but impressed with the quality of photos from such a small camera. Bought it for a trip to Cambodia to capture the country and sure it will do the job

Bit disappointed compared with TZ70 which this replaced,because of a broken screen. No view finder and very flimsy plastic compartment cover. Same problem when on full zoom,needs a tripod, and picture quality is awful which can be cleaned up with Photoshop if you have it. Disappointed because of the high cost, expected better!

This camera is well made and has all the features I need, I particularly love the fact that you can charge the battery while it's inside the camera I've also seen some of the comments complaining about the absence of a viewfinder but I have not used one since 2001 mostly because I always have compact cameras and they're too small for a viewfinder to be used comfortably If it's a deal breaker for you I would look at a more professional camera instead.

Great compact travel camera. Bought one as a present for friend, so impressed, I bought one for myself, adds to the collection, of full frame cameras as a handy compact travel camera. Excellent features, including manual mode, which is essential for me. Zoom quality is impressive,

After approx 8 months of light usage, being kept in a padded pouch, never dropped, banged or in any way mistreated, the focus mechanism failed. It would only ever focus when first switched on, once the zoom was used focusing was toast. I returned it but it isn’t being/cannot be repaired. I am unable to find a way contact amazon to get this resolved. All in all I’ve been left with a £500 sour taste in my mouth/wallet. Would I buy again? Definitely not. Has this put me off buying from Amazon? Without a doubt.

Still getting to grips with how to wotlrk it to its full potential. But takes some beautiful pictures.

The camera is very easy to use and works great during the day as well as night pictures

Le TZ99 vient en remplacement d'un TZ80 arrivé en fin de vie. Enorme avantage car il reprend quasiment la même ergonomie et nous apporte une qualité de prise de vue qui nous satisfait pleinement pour l'usage que nous en faisons.

Over the years I’ve owned several Panasonic Lumix cameras in this format and have used them so frequently that I’ve worn them out. The latest version has remover the viewfinder as part of the design I would have liked it if they had kept this feature. So, 4 stars instead of 5.

Amé la cámara, cumplió con todas mis expectativas, al inicio me aparecía que llegaba en 2 meses, y terminó llegando en 2 semanas. Cabe resaltar que la cámara venía sin cable de carga, pero leyendo el manual y todos lods documentos, menciona que las cámaras para territorio Europeo, no iban a incluir cargador y es el caso de esta, pero fuera de eso todo bien

Amazing camera! i need to use it more to figure out the settings. Takes great pictures too. But if you like clear, crisp pics for both day and night then i think this cam is not for you.
