My favorite car seat! I ordered the Diono Radian 3RXT four years ago for one of my children and I knew when I was in the market for a car seat again, THIS was the only option. I LOVE how this seat has a steel frame, it is heavy, sturdy, and everything you would want in a car seat! Diono has made some improvements to this seat over the years (comparing my seat from 4 years ago to this one). Even without improvements I would ALWAYS recommend this seat! I love that they fit 3 across comfortably and it is also comfortable to sit next since it is so slim. My children have never complained about comfort when riding in these! They fall asleep everytime we hit the road which is a testament to how great these are! They have good padding with this new model having even more padding! Very easy to install and a great value for how awesome this seat is! Dion I regularly has sales on Amazon and I purchased both my seats while on sale saving $85 dollars on one purchase and over $100 saving on the other. I would love to get two more of these seats so we could have them in both vehicles!! You will not be disappointed with this seat! We are a Diono Family for life! They even have comparable seat protectors that fit perfectly under their car seats without compromising safety! Check these seats out!!! You won’t regret it!

This was the only car seat to fit in my husband coupe. It's very compact, but yet feels so safe. We love this car seat, we have 2. It has a lot of safety features and it very comfortable for the kids. The straps are very smooth and soft.

I have two of these car seats, and they’re excellent! The durability and sturdiness make me feel confident my kids are safe—truly built to last. The quality is outstanding, and I love that it grows with them, making it a great long-term investment. The only downside is that it’s on the heavier side, so if you plan on traveling a lot, you might want to consider something lighter. But for everyday use, it’s one of the best and safest car seats out there.

This is an amazing car seat. I was in an accident with a previous car seat that saved my two year old. It was a cheap one I got on sale so for the new one I wanted something with great reviews and that was known for its safety. I feel so much safer with her in this car seat. Installing is typical to others. Not too hard but you definitely want to read your manual and maybe watch an installation video. It fits great in the middle seat with plenty of room for two other passengers on each side. The seat is more narrow than others with adjustable sides. My daughter seems to be comfortable and I'm at ease knowing she's safe. The only thing I'd say about this car seat is it is HEAVY!! we traveled to the airport with it and carrying it around by itself was horrible. I recommend buying the separate carrying case if you do any sort of traveling.

This is super well built and HEAVY! But in a good way. My daughter fits really well in it and she’s comfortable. If using in the rear facing configuration be aware that it is very long front to back so best for larger vehicles. In front facing configuration it fits really well in all sorts of vehicles! We’re using it rear facing and it fits in our very large vehicle.

My daughter is 5 years old & 41 lbs. She needed a new and more comfortable harnessed seat. She requested it be pink or purple. She is forward facing with no seat incline. I no longer hear that her car seat isn't comfy. She's able to cross her legs without them bumping into an armrest. The cup holder is a little difficult to attach but that seems to be the same with all the Diono seats we have owned. This seat is heavy, but once in the car was easy to install. She is over 40 lb so it is installed with the seat belt instead of the latch system. The headrest is a little difficult to adjust but once you get the right angle it moves easily. This is our third Dino Radian for our family. The first two lasted 8 years before I passed them to another family. Would definitely buy this brand again it doesn't disappoint.

Purchased this because of the narrow width to use as a travel car-seat on a commercial airline and with a rental car. I would strongly recommend against buying this if you intend to travel with it. It is extremely heavy and nearly impossible to maneuver on board an airplane. It is supposed to be good for children from birth to age 10, but because the straps have to be made to fit bigger kids, they won't tighten properly on a small toddler. I took the cover off to wash it prior to use, and needed the have the instructional video playing over and over to understand all the steps to disassemble and reassemble the seat. Replaced it with a much simpler and lighter carseat for travel.

Very well constructed. Worth the price.
