Really enjoyed the graphic novel, parts were unclear to me but...
I think alot of me not understanding some things is I'm not too familiar with the lore from the game, I haven't played the video game in God knows how long so am a little off in the lore but even so the story was done very well and I enjoyed the art. And feel it going somewhere, like they have it mapped out. So can't wait to start volume 2

A different perspective
Having played the game and enjoying every single bit of it, the comic book pages take a slower pace but rewarding reading experience with a different touch on artistic explanation. The game may focus on the haunt and progression, the pages of the comics make you ask question such as compassion and regret for why the haunt exists, loved it.

Beautiful
Great artwork, fast read. One who knows and/ or likes bloodborne will appreciate this work. I loved the nod to souls/borne/elden ring games.

Great book
Loved the story. The artwork was okay, but I can forgive that when the story is as good as this one was.

Bought this in hopes of clarity, left with even more confusion.
As stated I bought this in the hopes of adding some clarity to this game/comic series but I'm left with even more confusion than when I started. There's very little dialogue in this Volume and it's just as confusing as the start of the game itself. It's more geared toward the artwork. The art work in this comic book is just as vivid, if not more, compared to the game on Playstation 4. This series has an extreme cult following on Reddit who are always willing to share their knowledge with the r/Bloodborne community and are very helpful. The one thing that bothers me about this comic book is how hard it is to find the Volume #2. I wanted to by all 4 from this series but for some unknown reason Vol. 2 is either not in stock or ridiculously priced at +$30 while Volumes 3 & 4 are only $12. What's up with that? It's not just like that on Amazon but on other retailers and even on eBay used copies are selling for $20 for Volume 2. It honestly frustrates me because I want them all but there's no chance of me purchasing the next 3 volumes if I can't find volume #2 for under $16. Hopefully it's just fluke timing for me to get into this series and in the not too distant future I can find Volume #2 at a reasonable price.

Haunting
An amazing dive into the world of bloodborne from a poor hunter trying to understand a world that refuses to be seen as it is.
