Follow the instructions and it works great , there have been reports of not doing the job, the join was good and as flexible as the filament 5 star

Great quick and easy to use compared to other products although it did take me 10 or so attempts to get it right but once u have hang of it filament can be joined in under a minute

It's ok, bit disappointing in some ways, heats quite quickly, annoying beep, at times feels like you need 3 hands, 2 to hold the filament in place and one to close the heating section properly. The join can be a bit hit and miss, sometimes fine other times bumpy and slightly out of line. I have managed to to weld nearly half a roll of filament together, but will have to wait and see how it prints. I like the idea and things may improve with practice.

Worked once then the screen stopped working. Couldn’t return because it was over the 30 days.

this works exactly as it says. i managed to splice together several old rolls to make a big one, rather than throwing them away.

This is great, Takes some getting used to but does what its designed for. The unit is allot smaller than expected and runs of a usb cable. Very handy to keep in the draw when needed.

Der Filamentverbinder von SUNLU inklusive 200 cm PTFE-Schlauch für 1,75 mm-Filament ist für mich ein praktisches Tool, das in keiner 3D-Drucker-Ausrüstung fehlen sollte. Ich war anfangs etwas skeptisch, vor allem aufgrund der gemischten Bewertungen – aber nachdem ich das Gerät selbst im Einsatz habe, kann ich die Kritik nur teilweise nachvollziehen. Ja, die Handhabung ist etwas fummelig, besonders beim exakten Einführen des Filaments – aber wir reden hier von einem mechanischen Verbinder, der zwei Filamente sauber zusammenschweißen muss. Das funktioniert bei mir mit etwas Geduld zuverlässig, und der Druck läuft mit dem Ergebnis problemlos. Wer regelmäßig druckt und sich mit der Technik hinter dem Gerät auseinandersetzt, wird mit diesem Tool klar kommen. Für mich ist es ein typisches 3D-Drucker-Add-on: Es erfordert ein bisschen Fingerspitzengefühl, bringt aber eine enorme Ersparnis bei den Filamentkäufen. Fazit: Wer ernsthaft im 3D-Druck unterwegs ist, sollte sich vom „etwas fummelig“ nicht abschrecken lassen – der SUNLU Filamentverbinder macht genau das, was er soll, und spart dabei Zeit und Material. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die ihr Setup sinnvoll erweitern möchten.

Very straight-forward! Pay attention to the settings for the material type to get the best splice you can get. Comes with lots of plastic sleeves. I keep pressure on the ends when its making the connection. I find I have to keep said pressure until it cools. The sleeve cutter built in works great. I rans some splices through the machine and it didnt have a problem at all. This tool just opened up several spots on my filament rack. If anything changes I'll update this review.

Un gran bel prodotto, occupa pochissimo spazio su un tavolino, non ci mette molto a riscaldarsi e avvisa con dei segnali acustici, è assolutamente intuitivo e sul manualetto ci sono tutte le temperature/tempistiche utili per molti filamenti, da quando lo ho ne faccio un uso quasi costante, mi ha salvato un sacco di bobine e filamenti, promosso a pieni voti.
