This item is solidly built and came with a very sharp edge. It is well balanced but has enough weight in the head to assist with the down swing. I purchased a second short hoe from Amazon that was Chinese made and about half the price. That item had a dull edge with a head that was loose and mounted in such away that it probably would have broken if put to a real work test. That item will be returned. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for a for superior tool.

Très bien mais l'emmanchement est à revoir. L'article semble solide, l'acier est bon et le manche me parait ok (il est en chêne, ce qui est rare). Mais le système de coin doit être revu. Je l'ai enlevé, enfoncé et collé un coin en bois dur à la place, que j'ai scié. Puis j'ai placé un coin en acier en diagonale. Je pense que ça tient mieux, et en plus le coin ne ressort plus. La Chine fait aussi de bons produits, tout dépend du prix qu'on y met.

I love it. Perfect for clearing weeds. Very useful in the garden.
