First I am in no way a typical fan of protein bars, I usually waste money buying them only to take a bite and not finish it. I have been on a carb restricted diet since July and these were a hit for myself and my husband. He prefers the peanut butter but I prefer the chocolate! Both are a fantastic little "pick me up" or way to curb a sweet craving.

The bar is sweet with a nice tang to it. It's nice to have an option that isn't chocolate.

Great find, pleasantly surprised. I am trying to live on a keto diet which calls for a low carb and higher fat content in order to burn fat for fuel instead of sugar. Simply put, I am looking for low carb options with a higher fat to carb ratio; however, most of the items advertised as "keto" at my local grocery stores do not meet that goal and are not truly keto. I'm starting to get tired of the small selection at my local grocery stores that I have found that have 12-20 grams of fat and 7-10 grams of carbs. So I searched the web for items that would meet my needs and found Amazon sold these. So I took a chance and bought them. The texture is smooth with a little crunch, and the caramel flavor is good. I only have 2 complaints. One, they are small for the price, but they meet my fat to carb criteria. My other complaint is these were delivered on a warmer spring day (temps in the 80s), and my bars sat on the porch for 2 hours before I got home. They had melted a little, and going forward, I will only buy these during the fall & winter timeframe to ensure no melting.

The only genius of this product is the company's deceitful marketing. These bars are the size of a finger; approximately 1/4 of a quest bar or 1/3 of a think bar, for reference. Keep that in mind when calculating the price per bar. So you are paying about $9 per bar, going off of that comparison. If this sounds like a good deal to you, go for it. The whole marketing of these bars is one giant scam. They likely settled on the ~170kcal per bar after their market research because many top competitors are around that ballpark. However, it is a slap in the face when you realize what you are getting "per serving" or per bar. Also, the taste is not worth it. I was hoping to find an alternative to quest bars because I don't need that much fiber in one sitting. Alas, the search continues.

I received a Genius peanut bar and loved it, but as a D2 I thought the numbers were too high for frequent consumption…explored the other offerings and found this one w much better numbers, and it tastes great

They are very lemony but gritty and odd BUT I like odd so I would order them again except for the price. I could 't believe that I paid that much for them in the first place.

They are edible but somewhat melted. The taste is good. The outer layer flakes away, makes a mess. I am sure it is because of the heat. They would be great in the cooler months.
