I really put this VTX through the ringer. It works well. My spektrum transmitter signal went out before my video on 600mw. So it works and worked well for me. I got stuck in a tree top for about 2 hours from 9 to 11 am. I got the plane down and the VTX was on and hot but still works clear. I had blue smoke twice and sparks when I poorly crammed all these electronics in a homade and too small fuselage. The VTX still works? And this. My plane topped off my bench and the guts came out with the battery tugging hard on all my planes inards ripping the 6 pin plug off the back. I solder the wires back directly and It came back on...? Whoa. It wont die. Im impressed after expexting worse after reading the reviews. I want to voice my experiance to more accuratly prepare buyers in this super expensive hobby. Ty.

Excellent image , strong signal and very little break up around objects. Easy to set up .

Works very well no problems Also I love smart audio Has the power to fly further And keep a good clean signal.

I like the size and the mmcx but this only goes to 800mw. IT DOES NOT HAVE a 1000mw setting. But...it’s tough and easy to install. Smart audio works great on TBS protocol. Like it better than my Tramp HV. Strong, clean signal. I hope to get tester and see what this actually outputs.

after i burt out last vtx installed this one its much smaller and harder to mount but same great vtx at the standard ultimate vtx and has button to switch pit modes

I did not receive the power/video pigtail shown in the picture. I don't know if mine was a previously returned unit or what, but I've had to order a JST-GH 1.25mm kit to make my own. I have not powered the unit on yet, so I don't know if it works.

Just did some test flights. With a VAS Airscrew antenna on the VTX and the stock antennas on my Eachine EV800d, I get 1.7km at 200mw and just over 2km at 600mw. Haven't tried full power yet. Video is clear until then, then fuzzes out. One thing to add: this VTX completely blocks my 5.8Ghz Wi-Fi connectivity when it's on, at any power setting (while in the same room). At least on channel B4.

Purchased 2 of these in 2 months. Each time it failed to connect with smart audio on my betaflight controller. Also when adjusting the power output using the small on board button smoke poured out after setting above 200mW. Good price for the $ but I wouldn't recommend for anyone using smart audio.
