Only gave it a test drive in my kitchen. I’m very happy so far. This is not a backpacking kit but for car camping with 1-2 people it’s great! Heated water in the kettle faster than my kitchen’s electric stove. I can also use my cast iron griddle on it which is a big plus for me. Setup…a little fiddly first time but with use I think it will be second nature. Mark Young does a thorough and positive review on YouTube. His only complaints were: large pot not stable- I found that with water or food in it, it sits solid the latching tabs on the base we’re bendable in storage- the base inverts for storage and if you lock it in place I think this will protect them. I’m very happy with my purchase and will look into other Firemaple products!

The cook system is okay but not brilliant. I purchased this because I wanted a larger kettle and cook pots whilst camping...but didn't want to pay for the larger version Trangia 25 (I already have the Trangia 27). Though I'm more than happy with the kettle and pot size...I'm not so happy with the stove setup. Compared to the Trangia cooking setup (which is solid and sturdy once assembled) the fire-maple falls short. The slot connections are very flimsy and require bending into place every time you assemble the system, and never feels totally secure afterwards. Also, the pot holder clips are not permanently attached....and again once fitted don't feel totally secure. As mentioned I'm more than happy with the pots and kettle, which is why I decided to keep it.

Absolutely worth it. This stove packs pretty light and grat for cooking up meals for my girlfriend and I. The propane connection and line all feels very durable. The heat control is sensitive but when its wide open it heats up real quick and holds up against a light breeze pretty well. Super convienent
