Hopefully it's real copper, because if it's not, it's going to contaminate my pickling solution I use after soldering jewelry. These tongs are built well and are a good value for the money spent. They are of a sufficient length for taking pieces out of the pickle pot and grip with ease while closing nicely around the pieces. They have no sharp edges and are non locking making them a good choice for adding and removing items from the pot.

Love these! I use them for my pickle pot, and I have not had any issues with them. Great size, nice copper, the color is nice. lightweight, feels good in my hands, picks up any jewlery pieces I need to pickle, and works as intended. Makes my life very easy!
