THIS IS PURELY MAGIC. I tried other brand before, it had smoke coming out while sealing so I got some ptsd. It took me a while to overcome my fear and decide to try this product, turned out it’s awesome. It does the job perfectly, no smoke, not insanely hot, 100% sealed in one time, look pretty(like coming out from factory), and very easy to use. I have many plastic bags to seal for my small business and so happy to finally find something that works and affordable.

Handy little device that reseals your opened snack bags. It does take a little practice to use it properly. The bag opening has to be perfectly flat with no large wrinkles for a good seal. You may have to go over the opening two or three times for a good seal, but still a very handy device at a decent price point. It does work, our chips stayed nice and fresh for several days after re-opening.

This was a fun stocking stuffer that received rave reviews. It works great and does not take long to heat up to seal your bags. My only comment is that there is a little learning curve - too much pressure and it tears the bag. Also, I find it easier to start a little from the edge, seal it, then go backwards to the other side to seal it - otherwise, sometimes the corner you start on does not get sealed.

It is a smart idea but as others have said its effectiveness is questionable. Mine also broke after 3 months, the heating element just stopped working.

First, this does exactly what it says it will do. It will seal a bag of chips, crackers, etc. The problem is, that the way it makes the seal isn't as easy to open as the original packaging. You basically have to cut the bag below the seal line to get more chips. That would be fine if you were going to put them away for a few days, but I think most of us want to get a few chips now, a few more in a couple hours, a few more while we're watching TV at night...which is really not convenient if you have to cut the bag open then use this to reseal it every time. What I've found as a good use for this is storing pre-made hamburgers in the freezer. I don't have to use zipper bags, I can put them in any plastic bag (as long as it's heavy enough) and seal it with this. Then when I cut it open to take a couple burgers out for dinner, there's enough room created to make a new seal line. The other thing is that this will melt right through thin plastic, so don't try to use it on a regular bread bag, it will just melt it.

Das ODSD Mini Folienschweißgerät ist ein praktisches und leistungsstarkes Gerät, das zum Verschließen von Lebensmitteln und anderen Produkten verwendet werden kann. Das Gerät ist klein und handlich, so dass es leicht zu transportieren und zu verstauen ist. Das ODSD Mini Folienschweißgerät verfügt über drei Geschwindigkeitsstufen, so dass es für verschiedene Anwendungen geeignet ist. Die niedrigste Geschwindigkeit ist ideal für dünne Folien, die mittlere Geschwindigkeit für mittlere Folien und die höchste Geschwindigkeit für dicke Folien. Das Gerät ist mit einem wiederaufladbaren Akku ausgestattet, so dass es nicht an eine Steckdose angeschlossen werden muss. Der Akku hält etwa 30 Minuten lang, was für die meisten Anwendungen ausreichend ist. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem ODSD Mini Folienschweißgerät. Das Gerät ist einfach zu bedienen und liefert gute Ergebnisse. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen, der Lebensmittel oder andere Produkte luftdicht verschließen möchte. Very nice device . It is small so u can bring it with u and it is faster to seal . I used to seal a bag of chips in two shots and I shook the bag and nothing came out . It has 3 different gears for different type of bags and came with 2 extra thermal insulation strips so u can replace them after .

Das Folienschweißgerät kam sehr schnell und gut verpackt an. Der Akku war noch geladen, sodass ich gleich testen konnte. Das Gerät ist leicht zu handhaben und erklärt sich von selbst (Anleitung liegt aber auch bei). Es verfügt über 3 verschiedene Stufen für verschiedene Dicken von Folien bzw. Tüten. In den häufigsten Fällen kommt Stufe 2 zum Einsatz; diese funktioniert prima für beispielsweise Gefriertüten oder angebrochene Chipstüten. Die eingestellte Stufe erkennt man an den grünen Leuchtpunkten (1, 2 oder 3). Der Bag Sealer lässt sich zum Einführen der Folie ein Stück weiter aufklappen (s. Bild 2), was den Vorgang sehr erleichtert. Hat man die Folie eingeführt, presst man den Sealer zusammen. Es erscheint ein rotes Licht und nach wirklich sehr kurzer Zeit leuchtet es wieder grün. Schon ist die Naht verschweißt. Die verschweißte Tüte lässt sich auch wieder an der Naht aufreißen (wie die Original-Chipstüte). Auch mehrere Schweißvorgänge an gleicher Stelle sind möglich, natürlich kann man die Tüten auch ein Stück abschneiden. Pluspunkte gibt es für die leichte Handhabung, die sehr gute Funktionalität und die Lademöglichkeit mittels USB-Kabel, das mitgeliefert wird. Ein weiterer dicker Pluspunkt für die Mitlieferung von Ersatzwärmestreifen, die verschleißanfällig sind. Einen Punkt Abzug, da in meinem Paket die Übungsbeutel fehlten, was ich aber verkraften kann. Der Preis ist insoweit gerechtfertigt, da das Gerät wiederaufladbar ist und in diesem Segment zu den günstigeren gehört. Alles in allem, Daumen hoch, meine Empfehlung!
