Wow! Firm but marshmallow soft, I feel like I just bought a brand name, high quality mattress! I cant believe how comfy it is. I no longer wake up with pain. This is a must have, especially if you have an old or too firm mattress and you want something that is a combo of firm, yet soft and you dont have the money to buy a new mattress. You sink in, but yet it is firm. Hard to explain it, but if you purchase it, you will see what I'm talking about. This has been the best purchase/investment I've made in a long time. Very pleased. I'm not sure about washing it though, I freaked out after reading a critical review that said they washed and dried it and found black mold inside. Maybe they didn't dry it long enough? Idk.

I've had my king size mattress for four years and it's become unbearable. It's firm, which is something I thought I needed to help manage back pain, but it's become so uncomfortable that I can hardly stand it. I actually dread going to sleep because of it. It was a big financial investment, too, which makes this situation all the more frustrating. Not to mention, it now has deep body impressions in it, so I kind of roll into a pit at night instead of sleeping on an even surface. I have considered getting rid of it and buying a new mattress, but I don't care to invest the money right now. I decided a mattress topper was the way to go. I did some research, and this one came highly recommended. The price was perfect, so I ordered it with very low expectations. Meanwhile, my miserably firm mattress was leaving me in pain every morning. Both shoulders and my low back were stiff and painful (I'm a side sleeper), and I couldn't wait for this mattress topper to arrive. I have had four nights of sleep on the new topper and I am feeling so much better. There is a memory foam pad that sits under a fluffy comforter-like topper. I fluffed it up by hand and then put it in the dryer for a few minutes. I left the memory foam pad to expand for about 7 hours before I put everything on the bed. The first night it felt a bit weird because the memory foam pad hugs your body, and I was worried I wasn't going to be able to sleep well. But when I woke up with less shoulder pain, I knew this was going to work. I assumed the topper was going to be hot, but it's cozy without feeling like you're roasting in a sauna all night. I'm really happy with this purchase, and I still can't believe how much better my body feels in the morning. I know items like this are hit or miss, but this was definitely a hit for me. If you're a side sleeper who wakes up in pain because of a mattress you're not yet ready to replace, give this a shot. **UPDATE (1/8/24): I've been sleeping on this mattress topper for almost a month now, and still loving it. Shoulder and back pain have subsided, and I no longer wake up with headaches. I was initially concerned the mattress topper would compress and flatten too much over time to be effective, but it's holding up well. I do rotate it once a week when I wash/change my sheets just to help even it out and avoid body impressions from ruining it.

I ordered this after my spinal fusion at L5-S1. The pillow top is soft, and the memory foam adds a nice stability. The pillow top does retain body heat, but wears off after a few months. Queen size matches the mattress nicely. I would recommend getting those clips that you use to hold fitted sheets in place, as it can move. You will also need to get deeper fitted sheets to go over this and the mattress. 10 months in and still does what I wanted it to do. If you are debating getting one of these, or a new mattress, get this. It will extend the time needed before getting a new mattress. Gives a similar feel to a high end hotel bed. This definitely did what I was looking for, provide support and comfort for my back after my back surgery.

The mattress topper is excellent. Feels very comfortable and due to the memory foam it helps support better and helps with back pain as well. I highly recommend this mattress topper. I would definitely buy this product again.

Made a tremendous difference without spending thousands , just like sleeping on a cloud . The down topper will have a warming feeling, so if you need a cooler feeling to sleep we just cover with a light comforter

Needs a very slick sheet on top or satin pjs for a comfortable turn while snuggled in. Nice sleeping
