Great sound bar. Easy installation.
Keeping mind I'm not an audiophile, I think this soundbar is great. It was a great price, it wasn't complicated and it looks good. It paired easily with our fire stick and now with our new smart tv. The volume is easily controlled with the TV remote. I like there is an option to connect via Bluetooth. Oh and it sounds great too! With our big TV it feels like we are at the movies!

Pleasantly surprising big sound
the value for this is huge. the soundbar works intuitively, it is plug and play. there are some nice built-in features, like equalization, and bluetooth from your phone etc. The remote will last forever, because my TV will control it natively.

Nice All in One soundbar !!
This is a really nice all in one soundbar ! Very clear dialogue . Plenty of bass for movie viewing . Decent soundfield for a soundbar. I am using this in a large open room . sitting about 11 feet away from bar and there is plenty of volume for movies ,news or whatever. Will not shake the walls but action scenes and explosions are good . Cabinet is plain but nicely finished and does not look cheap . Bass , treble and dialogue controls actually make a difference ! Would be nice to have an indicator light that stayed on when bar was off or powered on but this is a small complaint. Voice assist that tells you you are changing settings can be turned off which is great and then just pay attention to the indicator lights when you make adjustments .I cant speak to atmos performance as I do not have top tier netflix or prime and I do not have a DVD player connected . Overall VERY happy with my purchase and would by another if needed . I feel it is well priced for what you get . Clear voices,a lot more clear bass than expected and looks good hanging on the wall. Using HDMI . It is almost exactly the same length as a 43 inch TV . tv is 38 bar is 37 so it looks good for my application .I think most people will be happy with this bar . I believe the separation and bass are on par or better than the 2 more expensive bars that this gets compared to and it is lots less expensive. This review is for the Soundbar plus all in one without external sub . Easy setup ,sounds good ,looks nice and priced well !

Good Product for General Use
When the speakers in my garage Fire TV started to rattle I decided to buy a sound bar to correct the problem. After much searching I decided on this unit because it was a one piece model. I did not want a separate subwoofer! The soundbar arrived on time and well packaged and has met my expectations. It is well constructed and came with mounting brackets, an HDMI cable and a power adapter. I was a snap to setup. The sound is good but not great. The bass could be better but this was to be expected since it did not come with a separate subwoofer. The bass ranges from good to muddy or boomy...depending upon the source material. There are a number of adjustments that do allow for adjusting the sound for different types of programs. The remote works well but is largely not needed if you are using an actual Fire TV. All in all, this is s good soundbar for general listening. I would not recommend it for a home theater system as there are many better options available.

Good soundbar to solve low dialog in movies
I had an existing sound bar for my TV but the dialog was always super low compared to the music & sound effects. i would turn up the volume for the talking, but then be overwhelmed by the super loud music and explosions in movies. This soundbar's dialog boost feature is the solution I have been looking for to solve that problem. The sound is amazing and the quality of the soundbar is excellent. It connected easily, but required the optical cable connection for my TV model (due to the age of the TV). I recommend this soundbar for anyone looking to boost the dialog while watching movies or TV shows.

Great all in one soundbar
I very happy with my purchase of this soundbar. Recently a vizio 2.1 soundbar I had had some issues which ultimately had it with much reduced volume. Prior to that I had an expensive surround sound system. 4 Def Tech tower speakers, a a large center speaker and large subwoofer. The switch to soundbars was mostly to accommodate my gf and just simplify things. She does not like loud and thumpy so the full blown system is kind of out. The Vizio soundbar I had did have a subwoofer, but I would turn that all the way down for her. I decided to try and simplify even further with this all in one soundbar and I have to say I'm very impressed. It blows the vizio soundbar I had out of the water. Even with the bass turned down all the way, it has a nice full sound to it compared to the higher pitched Vizio. Another thing I was looking for was better separation of voice. I am having more difficulty as I get older and with the Vizio, the lack of separation of the voices tended to get them drowned out. On the Amazon soundbar the voices are very distinct and clear, even at dialog level 1. If I need extra oomph, I've got 4 more levels of dialog boost I can use. For movies and TV this soundbar sounds great. I did listen to one movie the other day that didn't sound as good, but I suspect that's more related to the source of the movie itself than the soundbar. For movies, there is plenty of bass imo and it sounds very full and loud even at a low bass setting. I personally prefer it at around 5 which I feel sounds most natural, but if you really like bass you've got up to level 9 to go. Music so far is possibly a little let down. I haven't gotten a chance to play with it much and so far only really listened from youtube app on the Roku. I suspect that may not be a great source and perhaps a bit of tweaking will help when I have time. I do NOT like the "music" equalizer mode. I think it sounds very thin in this mode and for music (and really everything) I think the "movie" mode is the best. It has that nice round warm tone that I prefer. Setup was super easy. I'm using an optical cable. I plugged it right in and was ready to go. I would prefer if the remote allowed for moving up or down some of the settings like dialog level, treble and bass. These you have to go through all the levels to cycle back to the lowest level (unless I'm missing something). Kind of annoying, but generally your set once you find what you like. Volume does go up and down.

Some of the reviews for the Amazon Fire TV Soundbar Plus had me a bit concerned, but those doubts quickly vanished after testing. Firstly, you need to manage your expectations. This is a soundbar, not a home cinema surround. The sound you get from this will be much better than your TV speakers, and noticeably better than a cheaper soundbar you may be upgrading from. Just in case it wasn't clear from the product description, you DO NOT need a Fire TV for this to work. I have mine connected to a PS5 and projector using a good quality HDMI sound splitter that supports ARC. My PS5 is currently set to Dolby Atmos (my preferred choice), although you could set the output to DTS as well if you prefer. I've tested both, and they work. This product comes with a small remote that contains all of the buttons you'll need to change the sound settings, and you will receive audible announcements from the soundbar itself when you change them. There are several different sound settings to choose from, including music, movies, night mode, and sports. There are also independent buttons to adjust bass, treble, and dialogue level (one of my favorite features). The bass itself is definitely noticeable, and you can feel it. That being said, if you want your entire room to shake as well as the dishes in your cabinets, then you will not find that here. Overall, I am completely satisfied with this product so far. I upgraded from another soundbar and this one is a measurable upgrade in quality and clarity. So if you're looking for an affordable soundbar without breaking the bank, then I'd suggest you seriously consider this Amazon Fire TV Soundbar Plus.

Preliminary use indicates the soundbar produces audio enhancement compared with a previously used Dolby Digital soundbar, when used with Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby 5.1 and DTS Master Audio 5.0. While the sound is not highly spatial due to my set up, it is richly detailed and powerful. The bass level is very adequate for a small space. Excellent for music playback, with excellent clarity to voices too. So far, very good indeed, thank you very much. Good value too, and easy to install.
