when your support paperwork is missing
The HP server had a failed fan.My contract with HP was never filed by my vendor so I would have needed to pay a foolishamount of money for them to fix/replace the fan.I found these and they had great reviews.They have now been in place or almost two months and I am very happy.If you need fans, this is a good brand.

Perfect replacement for failing OEM fan
Fan arrived quickly and in good shape. Got swapped a failing fan on my dl360e gen8 home lab server with this one without any problems. Spun right up and passed health checks.Like others I don't understand why they ship it with thermal paste but now I have extra.

Excellent replacement fans
These are great replacement fans for my gen8 server. The only thing I don’t understand is why they come with thermal paste. But it’s nice to have extra thermal paste on hand now. Added bonus!
