A great product however you only come to realise that the battery is inbuilt that cannot be recharged or changed . This could be mentioned clearly in the description and not making it obvious makes you wonder . Still, a good product that can be used for 3 years apparently .

Au bout de 9 mois la batterie est à 20%... Il reste a demeure dans mon portefeuille, je l'ai fait sonné 2 ou 3 fois maximum... Bref on est loin des 3 ans d'autonomie. EDIT du 08/07/2025: Le constructeur a trouvé cela anormal et m'a donc renvoyé un nouvel appareil. Je modifie ma note en conséquence.

I recently purchased the SwitchBot Wallet Finder Card, and it has exceeded my expectations. Its slim design, akin to a bank card, fits perfectly in my wallet, offering a level of convenience that other trackers like the Apple AirTag or Samsung SmartTag simply can't match. One feature I particularly appreciate is its NFC functionality. Even after the battery life ends, which takes about three years, it continues to work as an NFC card. Adding it to both my SwitchBot app on Android and my iPhone's Wallet was seamless, allowing tracking from two devices. Though the Android phone needs to be within Bluetooth range for full functionality, it's a minor compromise. The standout feature for me is the lost mode. If you misplace your wallet, you can enable this feature in the app, and anyone who finds your Wallet Finder Card can scan the QR code to access your contact information. It’s a simple yet ingenious way to ensure lost items find their way back to you. In my tests, I compared the SwitchBot Wallet Finder Card directly with an Apple AirTag. I noticed that in some cases, the AirTag updates a bit faster. However, when there’s good internet coverage and plenty of people around, both devices tend to send updates at the same time. In areas with weaker coverage, like on a train, the AirTag usually sends updates quicker than the SwitchBot. That said, the difference in update speed is minimal. In most cases, the updates are so close to each other that it’s really not a big deal. Overall, the SwitchBot Wallet Finder Card is a great product, offering the biggest bang for your buck. For anyone looking for peace of mind in a slim, wallet-friendly form, this is a must-have addition to your everyday carry.

The Wallet Finder card fits well in my wallet. It’s about the thickness of 3 credit cards. It works well with the Find My app unlike some of the competitors. A button on the card can also be used to find one’s mobile phone. The battery lasts 3 years and can’t be replaced. I guess that’s a limitation of it being so slim. An improvement would be an induction charging system but I guess this might add to the cost. You can check the battery level with the SwitchBot app. It does integrate with other SwitchBot products and so can used to trigger automations but I didn’t test this. All in all, I’m happy with it.

È importante evidenziare che questa funzione è disponibile esclusivamente per dispositivi iOS, quindi non può essere utilizzata con smartphone Android o altri sistemi operativi. L'installazione è rapida e intuitiva: basta un minuto per associarlo e il dispositivo è subito pronto all’uso. Nonostante le dimensioni ridotte, risulta molto robusta e ben costruita. 🔋 Durata batteria eccezionale ma non ricaricabile Un grande punto a favore è la batteria integrata che promette fino a 3 anni di durata senza necessità di ricarica. Tuttavia, l'impossibilità di sostituire o ricaricare la batteria è un aspetto negativo da tenere in considerazione, perché rende il prodotto usa-e-getta una volta esaurita. 💦 Resistente e durevole Ho apprezzato molto anche la certificazione IP67, che rende la carta resistente all'acqua e alla polvere. È confortante sapere che anche in caso di imprevisti (pioggia o piccoli incidenti), il dispositivo continuerà a funzionare perfettamente. 📱 Utilizzo pratico quotidiano e integrazione con SwitchLock Pro Personalmente l’ho utilizzato anche per ritrovare le chiavi e perfino per tenere sotto controllo la posizione della mia valigia durante brevi viaggi. Il raggio di azione Bluetooth è ottimo per le normali esigenze quotidiane. Inoltre, ho trovato molto comoda l'integrazione con la serratura SwitchLock Pro, che mi permette di aprire la porta di casa semplicemente passando la carta davanti al keypad SwitchBot posto fuori dalla porta. 🔑 Conclusione Lo SwitchBot Wallet Finder Card è un ottimo acquisto che mi sento di consigliare con qualche riserva relativa alla batteria non sostituibile. Rimane comunque una soluzione molto valida per chi cerca un tracker affidabile, pratico e durevole nel tempo a costo molto contenuto.
