Bought this scale to upgrade over a regular food scale, and it was a game charger. It's very accurate and has great build quality. The battery needs to be charged once every two weeks when making two cups per day. Its screen is bright but struggles a little when there is a lot of light in the room, so keep that in mind for your specific use case. I have only used it for pour over coffee so I can't comment on its performance regarding the automatic timer for espresso that others have mentioned. Generally very happy with this scale and highly recommend for simple pour over coffee.

REALLY well made compared to my previous coffee scales which cost the same price, made entirely of plastic and have already started to fail after 9 months. These feel absolutely solid, compact and weighty. The USB-C port has a silicone cover to protect it and the physical on/off switch is great. I just wish it came with a little pouch to give it some protection when I am away on trips but I'm sure I can find a small neoprene pouch. I would definitely recommend!

Just the job, good quality and accurate

I saw a video of someone using these with AeroPress coffee maker. That's why I purchased this. But it lacks a very key thing.A countdown timer. It counts up like a stopwatch just fine.But that means you still have to look at it all the time just to see if things are 'ready' or not. Which to me defeats the entire point. I may as well just a standard kitchen timer. Or, like I usually do - just wing it.So rather disappointed. But looking at other similar products on Amazon, I didn't fine any that explicitly stated they had a countdown timer.So I kept this one. After all; it's never bad to have a great looking tech item in the kitchen. And who knows; maybe at some point I'll need to measure something to 0.1 gram precision?

Great little scale, has a bunch of functionality that helps you dial in your extractions, and being so small it even fits on the tray of my Dedica which is a VERY compact machine, but you need small cup/condiment bowl to catch the extraction, a full size mug wont fit under there but that's my fault for buying such a small machine. Highly recommended for people looking to really fine tune their extraction recipe and ratio.

Great scale, weighing beans has really helped produce a consistently great espresso.Only criticism is that it would be nice to have an easier (bigger/bolder) or push button style On/Off switch

These scales are compact and both the manual timer and scales work fine but the auto measure is erratic and totally unusable. Because the timer starts on the first drop of coffee (or sometimes a glitch from switching on the espresso pump) and it stops as soon as the flow stops means that a drop or two from the pre-infusion will start and stop the scales and nothing further will be recorded.

had these for a few months now and no problem whatsoever. dont know why you would need to spend money on anything more expensive. weighs accurately to 0.1 of a gram and has a timer. what else do you need?
