Wonderful idea to learn while at the table eating!
I love these placemats and great for studying different maps and countries of the world!

Great for learning and lunching
I originally bought the US Map for my mom who wanted to quickly look up capitals and major cities in the US. I use the non-US maps at my office at lunchtime to teach myself about places I’m less familiar with. Especially Asia and Africa. So many places I hear about and read about, and I really didn’t learn (or commit to memory). These mats help put things in perspective. PLUS, these maps are really nice quality, colorful and easy to read and easy to clean. I do wish some of the colors were a little more distinct (especially on the Asia map), but it’s a tiny bit. Useful on 2 levels. Win-win.

Informative, educational.
I use the maps for my own information about international news, history, geography. They are very helpful, easy to use and easy to store.

Great way to learn geography!
I love learning about other countries and it's helpful to be able to locate countries where history is being made. I also love online quizzes! I have been doing Flagle and Globe quizzes online. I can name most of the countries in the world, but I'm not as knowledgeable about their locations. These "placemats" are a great way to learn about the countries of the world. They are durable, cleanable, affordable and you can clearly see each and every country. Much better than looking things up online or having a paper map or atlas.

Great construction, easy to clean, colorful.
These map placements are well done! Bright and easy to identify the countries and states. The children can color on the back with dry erase. Easy clean.

Great learning tool!
I love these place mats! They are large enough to clearly identify countries and important cities and provide a wonderful visual tool for learning. The colors are bright but not garish and the images are clear. Fun for adults who want to learn more about our world geographically, as well as children!

This is indeed painless learning
We are seniors with no young children in the house any more but we bought these placemats to replace ones which had worn out when the children were younger. You do not use these for elegant dining but they are great if you read the paper while eating and want to look up the location of places in the news right away. They are also great for planning your next trip and settling geography questions. One is never too old to learn! One caution, though, is to use coasters under hot plates and cups since the vinyl will warp if hot things are repeatedly put directly on them.

Excellent tool for learning geography regardless of Age
I have even kept a set for myself, they are so easy to use, my young nephew lives in the UK and I gave him one of the US, when we went over to visit, he is 8, he had my husband test him on capitals of US States, he is also interested in Africa, so I have now sent that one over, I refer to them a lot when answering Trivia tests online
