Kirkland Signature Dried Plums Pitted Prunes, 3.5 Lb (2 Bags)

Love these prunes. Great flavor, plump and effective in keeping me regular!

This particular batch of prunes have been moist and yummy. We eat a lot of prunes (with a fork out of the bag mostly. We keep a bag on the kitchen table, and at least one in back stock) and our experience with the Kirkland Sunsweets has been over the top. But, this is a natural product, so we expect some variation in quality. Sunsweet's new pitting technology seems to very rarely result in missed or broken pits, which can be a big turnoff. Another turnoff is the stickiness natural to prunes. All over your fingers. . . . Hence, the fork. Try these prunes/dried plums (I love marketing, don't you?) lightly stewed with lemon zest or rind. OMG. I don't know how many times I've wondered why anyone would choose candy. Check out the health benefits.

The quality of this product is good and I've been buying it for years.

I have been purchasing the dried plums from Sams for years. They haven't carried them since April of 2022, so I'm buying from an alternate source. A little more pricey, but isn't everything! They are pretty much the same quality and taste as I'm accustomed to. They do come in a slightly larger bag so you don't need to order as often.

I get these for my dad who's 94 and he absolutely loves them
