Just a brilliant and entertaining read from start to finish. Well written. Yes but different in places to the amazing film but the content is still there. Still give it 10/10

A highly engaging, emotion filled book. An enjoyable read both for kids and parents.

I watched the film and loved it.I didn't realise that the film was based on a series of books so naturally, I had to have them all to find out the full story.This book (as I haven't yet read the others) is really well written and I think the film does a good job. Always difficult reading the book after the film as you are seeing the characters as they were on film rather than creating them yourself but I didn't find this to be a major issue.I can't wait to find out more about the characters the more I read.

My 6 year old grandson read me the chapter with the fox and I decided to get the book as well so I could read it. It is a really lovely story and I now want to read the two follow up books, to find out what happens next to Roz. My 11 year old grandchild is also reading and enjoying this book. I just hope the film is as good as the book.

Such a lovely story, purchased after my boys enjoyed the film so got the book for them to enjoy too.

My 6 year old started reading at school, and we finished it together at home. It’s really kept him engaged and the nice short chapters keep the story progressing and give lots of chances for bedtime reading. Can’t wait to read the next book!!

I read this with my class of 7,8 and 9 year olds. They were fully engaged with the whole book!
