100% Mulberry - NOT

how do i know this is NOT Mulberry silk - i own B00PIMIZWA already, and Browint ain't that. i own Mulberry silk bedding too. 100% Mulberry silk is like steel thread, it has no stretch at all - this Browint stretches like any soft nylon sock. silk feels cool to the touch and wicks moisture - Browint does not. silk has a reflective sheen to it while Browint does not even bother to duplicate that (some fake silk products do). while China does produce a lot of caterpillar silk along with india and korea, china also makes a lot of Charmeuse silk WOVEN fabrics, and deceptively markets that fine soft weave of any fabric as "silk". so the problem here is not the gloves sold here, rather the reseller listing them as 100% Mulberry which enables him to charge double the price for what is most likely a cheap petrochemical similar to the fabric used on B0792RSWN3 .i know a lot of reviewers here seem to think this is actually silk, but sadly they simply don't know any better and truly like the gloves. it's worth noting that nowhere on this product packaging is the Momme rating of this "silk" which is another indicator of it not being caterpillar sourced. if you actually own true silk bedding, you will know what I'm referring to. before you take my word and buy that other brand of glove, you should know that silk is not popular in gloves because that lack of stretch puts more tension on it's many seams, and people use silk gloves like normal gloves, not realizing that real silk can only survive light use, or non abrasive use as an inner liner of a second outer glove. thus the people complaining in reviews on other products, are surprised by the lack of stretch to fit (out of their ignorance what true silk is like) and surprised that the gloves split and become thread bare too soon (due to inappropriate use), so if such issues don't appeal to you, by all means feel free to buy Browint - just don't go around calling that 100% Mulberry silk, cause it's not.

I want another pair

These liners are perfect. When it's just a little colder than my gloves can handle, I slip these on and they keep my hands toasty warm. I can take my gloves off to take pictures or futz with a dog leash without freezing my fingers off.I also wear them with mittens and they work just as well.I have a medium women's hand or a men's small. I bought these in a small and the finger length is perfect. They fit better than pretty much any glove I own.Yes, they snag easily but you probably shouldn't be handling velcro or tossing wood when wearing silk liners, eh? That's not a product problem, it's a pilot error. My only issue with these liners is I worry that I'll lose them. Then what will I do? I need a second pair.

Fit Well, But No Real Additional Protection From Cold

I'm a Letter Carrier in Massachusetts. My route is 100% walking; I have no mail truck. Like other workers who spend a majority of their workday outdoors, protection from severe weather conditions is very important to me. Keeping my body warm is easy... many layers, bulky outerwear, heavily-lined hats and footwear, etc. But when it comes to my hands, I need to wear gloves that will keep my hands warm, but not add bulk... it's difficult to 'finger the mail' if you're wearing ski gloves! My solution is to wear two thin gloves on each hand... one pair made from Thinsulate, and another also billed as a thin, lightweight glove that protects from the cold and wind. Unfortunately, during a recent bitterly cold stretch of weather, the 'two-glove' method also failed to keep my hands warm, making for a miserable day delivering mail. So, looking for a solution, I opted for these silk glove liners... surely a third lining made of silk should do the trick. The fit was fine (I realize fit is important, but many of the reviews give a high overall rating simply because they fit properly!), but, sadly, the liners provided no additional protection from the cold for me. Very disappointing!! These may work well under ski gloves, leather gloves, motorcycle gloves, etc., but they were ineffective for me.

Deceitful

Gloves do not actually appear to be made from silk. Gloves do not come with label disclosing origin(s) of manufacturing and/or material used. Does not help to keep hands warm, by themselves, while typing on a keyboard, in a cold environment.

Silk??? I don't know...

They don't have a shiny texture like silk.. more fuzzy like a cotton sock. Definitely thin and a medium fits my hands tightly. Great for maintaining dexterity while using tools or driving or even typing on a keyboard. They do damage very easily. Even a brush the wrong way with a key ring can create a tear that will soon make its way down the entire finger.

Good quality but the medium fits like a small

The gloves are a nice medium weight silk and appear to be well made. However they were smaller than what I was expecting. I generally wear a size medium in most gloves, including other silk gloves I have. These were more like a small and the finger length was a lot shorter than all my other gloves. I will be returning them. Would suggest ordering a size larger than normal for you.

Fits and works

I am ~6ft and have normally sized hands where I always verge between medium and large clothes etc. I went for the large and they fit very nicely with the stretch. Skiing and being outside for 8+ hours and having these under my normal winter gloves did marginally help my usually cold fingers so it's worth it.

Perfect solution for me

I am allergic to latex and many different gloves, both cheap and expensive, contain latex or natural rubber products in the lining. There are the perfect alternative, especially for driving. Just enough to take the chill off the steering wheel but I can still bump up the heat with the touch screen. And, the extra large size is truly extra large, for those of us who are literally ham-fisted.

Returned

Fingers are short. Reconsidered after feeling the material.. not sure if it's silk. But the seams are very well made and apart from the wrist, it does not stretch.

Not recommended. Not durable.

They looked and felt great when I bought them for wearing inside my riding gloves. But I’ve got holes in the finger tips within 5 weeks of daily use. Not durable. Not recommended.

Nice!

Wearing these as gloves, not as gloves liners, for figure skating. Excellent fit! Wonderful, silky feel! Very good value for the money.

Split within a few hours of use

Received this today, and wore it while at my keyboard. In less than 4 hours of use (only at my keyboard), there was a rip from thumb to index finger. Very disappointed.
