Finally a metal gear that will last more than 6 months!!

Only lasted 2 weeks. Left a pile of shavings under the gears. I cannot recommend these aluminum gears as a replacement. Waited for cooler weather to install so I missed my warranty return window.

Just visually inspecting it, they seem to be well made with smooth mating surfaces, 1 intend to do something different with mine. Of note mostly for people who have other ideas for uses.... the worm drive gear has 2 leads on it so despite what you may expect with 32 teeth on the driven gear the effective gear ratio will be 16:1, also being aluminum make sure that you protect them from abrasives and use plenty of clean appropriate lubricant
