Nice looking book. Lots of history on the subject. Some great images for tattoo references in the last 1/4 of the book.

I love everything Japanese. I especially love their body art with their Tattoos. So this purchase was a no brainier. Got this at a really good price and really enjoyed reading it on a long train trip.

this book has a lot of great information and is a great starting point for someone looking to learn about symbolism and meanings in traditional Japanese tattooing! it's not everything but an wonderful place to start! pictures and text are nice and clear easy to read some pictures make it 13+ tho

There's not much else to say that the title doesn't. It gives an overview of some of the popular Japanese tattoo designs and is written by a tattoo artist that very much enjoys what he does. I recommend it.
