It works well. The side panels raise and lower. The mattress is cushiony. The wheels can be locked with a lever at the end of the bed. You can raise an lower different sections of the bed. It is heavy and was somewhat difficult to get inside the house (even with two other guys and a ramp). There’s a bunch of sharp nails in the wooden box that it came in. Be careful when unpacking the bed. The memory foam mattress will inflate are you remove it from the vacuum sealed bag.

The bed is sturdy and well built. The features make it essential for caring for elderly and disabled patients. The set up is easy since the bed comes fully assembled except for the wheels. It is extremely heavy, therefore, requires two strong people to move it over a threshold or stairs.

The smooth operation (I presume from the high end motors) and ease of use is great. It's heavy - to get it through the door you need two strong people with good backs, but this was advised from the start. The communication and delivery were fantastic. I received the mattress within hours of the bed, our delivery people rolled the bed right into the garage for us. There is a lot of wooden crating so be ready to find a way to dispose of this. So far our impression and the home health aid's impression have been overwhelmingly positive. The hybrid mattress came with a pump that either alternates pressure or stays static, It was nice to have this included.

At first, I rated this transaction is one *. That is because they called me on a Monday to set up a delivery date. They asked me to call them back because I did not know the dimensions of my elevator new student bed would fit. The next thing I know they show up with the bed and it's curbside delivery. As a quadriplegic I needed to find someone to help me get to bed inside my apartment. I do not have anyone nor did they tell me it was curbside delivery nor does it say anywhere in the literature that it is curbside delivery. After I sent the bed and let a scathing review of their customer advertising and delivery service, they called me back and set up a delivery for Thursday and they would have two people to bring my bed up into my apartment. It did work out, but it was very difficult to talk to them on the phone because English seemed to me their second language. It was a very trying week. My friend did help set up the bed and after a few days of sleeping in it, I would have to say that it is fairly comfortable and seems to me, well-built. I like the fact that it is shorter than my old hospital bed and when it goes higher to my old hospital bed. I wish the foot of the bed would go up higher, but I can live it. Overall, after he took a little while to figure out the delivery instructions, I'm happy with the bed

I got a call from the nicest woman, telling me when to expect my bed and that I would need 2 people to move it into the house. She was exactly accurate. The driver showed up on time. He helped get the bed onto the furniture dollies and we were able to have it set up and in my room very quickly. It's already put together, and the mattress came UPS ahead of the bed. Wonderful service! The bed works perfectly. I am so happy, the money spent was well worth the comfort I have now. Highly recommend this product.

Hospital bed is high quality. But the best part customer service was out of this world. I had to call the man I talked to told me exactly what I needed to know. Thank you very much .
