Great quality
These are amazing! I used them with my son who has expressive language delays due to his autism. They are small and thick-great for little hands to hold and manipulate without damaging them. There are three kinds of each card: cartoon, realistic cartoon, and real life.

Perfect for Speech Therapy, Durable and multi-functional
Affordable quality cards to use in the medical setting. I am a speech pathologist in the medical field and these cards are great for my adult patients working on wording finding, categorizing sequencing, and memory skills like aphasic or dementia patients. I have also utilized them in small group therapy as well. It's nice to have the features written on the other side to use as cues during the tasks or for the patient to have to identify or group by features. The cards feel professional nice and sturdy for repeated use, I can wipe them down with wipes without destroying them, and the pictures are large and vibrant for my older patients to see. The box they come in is sturdy to be placed in your supply bag without opening.

So helpful for the little ones and fun too!
These cards are great, it’s helpful to have examples on the back of each card when looking at FFC (more in depth than just labeling the card). Only received a 4 because I think is should come with a pen for these cards - that won’t smear - so we can add additional info to the back of the card.

This set of cards was absolutely wonderful for my kindergarten students this year. I have both neurotypical and students with autism in my class and these cards are fantastic for everyone. Helping to identify emotions is a very important skill for all children to learn in the early years. Having students with autism being able to be exposed to these cards in a fun and interesting way helps in their development of languange and connections as well. The cards feature body parts, emotions and actions and are very helpfully organized in the box with tabs to sort the cards, so that you can find the ones you need and put them back in the correct spot. There are 150 cards with 2 cards for each word, so 75 different words and terms that are featured. The cards are a nice quality as well, and my favourite part is that they feature real world pictures with diverse people, which makes them more appealing to children and allows them to see themselves in the cards and make connections to their own learning. Overall this is a perfect set of cards for young learners and is also perfect for any early years setting or kindergarten classroom. A great buy!

As a parent of a toddler with speech delays, I’m always searching for tools that are engaging, clear, and effective — and the Real People Flashcards exceeded all expectations. The set includes 150 high-quality cards featuring realistic images of body parts, facial expressions, and everyday actions. Right out of the box, I could tell these weren’t your average cartoonish learning cards. The photos feature real people of various ages and ethnicities, which instantly makes the content more relatable and valuable for kids trying to connect words with real-life experiences. We've been using these flashcards daily in short sessions, and the difference in my child’s word recognition and engagement has been noticeable. He’s now pointing to his nose, ears, and knees more confidently, and even mimicking the actions shown on the verb cards — clapping, jumping, brushing teeth. The emotion cards are particularly helpful, not just for vocabulary building but also for emotional recognition, which is an important skill for any child, especially those on the autism spectrum. The cards are thick, durable, and have a slight glossy finish, which makes them easy to wipe clean after sticky toddler hands have handled them. What I love most is the versatility — they work well for independent play, one-on-one speech therapy, or small group activities. I’ve even used them to create little storytelling games to help build sentence structure. Whether you’re a parent, teacher, or therapist, this flashcard set is an excellent investment. It makes learning feel more natural and fun, and the realism of the photos truly sets it apart from the many generic products out there.

I can’t express how happy I am that I ordered this set of Picture Play Cards for my niece, who is autistic and still exploring the world around her. These flashcards have been such a game-changer for us—allowing us to teach her about body parts, emotions, and everyday actions in a way that's engaging and fun. The diversity of the pictures is a big win because it reflects a wide range of people, which feels important as we help her connect with the world. The cards are sturdy and high-quality, which is great because we need something that’ll stand up to her enthusiastic handling (and sometimes, her snacking). The fact that they are laminated and wipe clean has been a lifesaver since we’re still working on keeping things neat during our learning sessions. The variety of activities suggested for the cards has made it easy for us to adapt the way we teach based on her mood and needs, and I love that she can now start putting words to her emotions and body awareness. What I’ve found most special is the sense of pride she gets when she names things or expresses how she feels with more clarity. She’s a bright, incredible girl, and seeing her develop new skills with this set makes me even more proud. It’s been such a wonderful resource for her, and I’ll be recommending these to other families I know who are working on similar goals. These cards are definitely an investment in her future!

My wife teaches French as a Second Language to adults, and she’s always on the lookout for effective, high-quality teaching tools. She absolutely loves this set of cards and uses them regularly in her lessons. What really stands out is the overall quality of the cards. They’re made from thick, glossy cardboard that feels durable and professional. The images are sharp and clear, and they feature real people of all ages and backgrounds—which is a big plus. It makes the material feel more relatable and inclusive, especially for adult learners. Unlike many other educational tools, these cards don’t rely on cartoons or illustrations, which often feel too childish for adult students. Each card has a single word on the back that corresponds to the image on the front, making them simple and effective for vocabulary building. The cards are divided into three categories—body parts, actions, and emotions—using handy tabbed dividers for easy organization. One thoughtful addition is the small activity guide included in the box. It offers a few creative ideas on how to use the cards in different learning scenarios. It’s a nice touch that adds value, especially for teachers looking for inspiration. At $50 CAD, the set might seem a bit pricey at first glance, but the versatility and quality more than justify the cost. Beyond language learning for adults, these cards could also be really useful for working with children who have learning difficulties, or for any context where vocabulary development is a focus. For my wife, these cards have become a go-to resource in her classroom. She appreciates how well they support her teaching, and most importantly, her students respond well to them. She’s very satisfied with this product and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other educators.

This set of actions, body parts and emotions cards are a fantastic learning tool for any child. These are a good thickness and a lot sturdier than other flash type cards that we have owned in the past. They have a coating on them too so I think they will last longer. What I really like about this set is the photos on them are actual pictures, actual people and expressions, not cartoon or drawings. One side of the cards has the picture and the other side has the word corresponding to what is being shown. Another thing that I really like with these is that each emotion/action/body part has two cards depicting it. This is fantastic because emotions. actions and body parts can look different for different situations or different people. It helps teach children that things that are the same or similar can also be different or done different. These are really nice, they come sorted in sections and both corresponding cards are together in the box when it arrives. Very nice set, great for learning at home, and learning by play!
