Men's Core MQ24-1EL Black Rubber Quartz Fashion Watch

I’ve owned men’s Casio watches for many years and they’ve never disappointed me. My last one lasted 7 years. It’s actually still working but an edge of it chipped off. I really like this watch. It’s a nice looking casual sports watch and yet it has an elegant look and feel. It doesn’t have any extras like date indicator, and that’s fine with me. I can use my iPhone to check the date. Besides, the more extras you put into a watch, the more things that can go wrong with it. As soon as I received it I ordered a second one for a backup. The only small drawer back is the month to get delivery. But it’s worth it!

The durability of this watch is low. Especially the watch face. It scratches easily. The watch is thin, and it's unobtrusive. It's a little small as a man's watch but I like it because inobtrusive is what I wanted. I'm glad the hands don't glow in the dark, LOL. It's easy to set this watch to a fraction of a second accuracy by watching a computer clock, and pressing in the stem at the desired point in time. Despite the weakness of the watch face, I feel like it's a good value for what I paid. The workmanship is good. For what it is the watch looks great. I love the simplicity. I consider it disposable, but will be happy if I get more than 6 months out of it, more than happy if it makes it to a year.

I have been using my MQ24-1E for years. Bought this one for my son. The newer EL model supposedly has a more scratch-resistant face, but the documentation that comes with the watch doesn't say anything about that. I have a "dressier" watch for business meetings. But this one is my everyday watch and it looks almost as good (but without a catchy name to show off). Looks more professional than a digital watch, and it's easy to read at a glance. For the price, it's hard to beat. Even without a back light, I can read the shiny hands in most any situation. The smallish size (compared to today's big watch trend) makes it great even for my children, whose wrists are not that big. Documentation says it's OK in the rain and brief immersions, but probably not a good idea for swimming (and definitely don't try to change the time while you are underwater).

Like the styling and the price, but it's kiddie size, and it took forever to get here. I gave it to my 10-year-old. He likes it just fine.

Bought this colorway to replace my older 16 dollar casio, same model, as it had died from a little steam ingestion after forgetting to take it off before a shower. Not a huge deal because of the price, not a dealbreaker as they advertise just measly water resistance but i had assumed, like all my other non waterproof watches, it could stand a shower or two.

Simple, lightweight watch. Does the job. I sweat a lot and work outdoors. It's plastic strap is best for me.

Nel lontano 1990 comprai un mq24 per il mio 18esimo compleanno. Mi ha accompagnato fino al 2001. Poco tempo fa ne ho trovato uno uguale su Amazon. Sono davvero contento perché è identico a quello che avevo.
