Works well
I had seen reviews and YouTube videos of this and decided that it was a lot better than letting it run in the last groove if I fell asleep or went to make something to eat, it came well packaged and in good condition initially it seemed very plasticky (if thats a word) it comes with no clear instructions on what the 2 sliders are for one on the front and one on the back, after a bit of playing with them the front one alters the hight of the lifting bar and the back one the strength of the lift, the settings it came with practically launched the tonearm into the air and back down on the record (not something you want to happen) I ended up with the back slider just above midway on my project debut carbon evo. Once set up and after keeping an eye on it for a few records it works perfectly every time, nice slow lift no bounce I found one of my records that had a small run off area and set it to that. Its a bit fiddly but a guy on YouTube shows how to do it with a business card you need 3 hands cos before its fixed in place the arm knocks it out of place but once fitted its brilliant well recommended

Feels cheap but absolutely does the job
Inelegant but effective. Set up in 5 minutes on my Debut Carbon EVO and it works as advertised. Once you set the force to a lower amount it is whilst not smooth is not too violent lifting.I have been tempted to buy the Audio-Technica AT6006R as a nicer looking and smoother option but honestly am not sure it is worth so much more money.

Absolutely fantastic little device!
The media could not be loaded. Works brilliantly on our manual turntable. Bought a new system, and was sold a manual turntable as being the best for sound quality - but once home we were worried the stylus would get damaged sitting in the run off groove, esp if we forgot about it all night (and we do.) So one smart plug and the Q Up later and our investment is protected! We tell Alexa to turn the plug off in an hour/at a certain time, and use the Q Up to lift the arm when the record finishes playing. It was a little bit fiddly to install, took a few adjustments, and a ruler to ‘mark the spot’ but it was soon secured in place. Additionally, not having any electrical components it doesn’t affect the sound quality at all. Happy days ☺️☺️☺️

Just what I needed
If like me you were sick of getting up every 15-20 minutes to lift the needle off your vinyl then this is a must, no longer do I have the sudden "oh crap" moment as you leap off the sofa to grab the needle as soon as the last song plays.I was able to pick mine up for £20 which when you weigh up the pros vs cons is worth it but I've seen it now at £50 from some sellers, it is NOT worth that much due to it's build quality. Don't get me wrong it's not flimsy but at the end of the day it's a piece of light plastic with some sticky tape on the bottom!ProsWorks as it shouldGives me a more relaxing listenAdjustable heightAdjustable tone arm lift strengthConsExpensive for what you getDoes need some tinkering (YouTube videos)No instructions (go to company site)

Overpriced poor quality
If you can afford a manual turntable, buy the £100 auto technica arm lifter. I was Very disappointed with this bit of plastic for £35. The trigger sets intermittently, when activated, the sprung arm is not damped, so it fires the turntable arm skyward. Would have been ok for a fiver but expected a quality product for £35, this fell short by a long long way

It works but feels cheap
It does its job. But it is actually to tall for my project debut carbon so instead i had to use my own adhesive to stick to the turntable instead of using the slide in stand that came with it.

Item works, but......
Not as easy to install as the youtube video would indicate. Quality build not the 'precision' job advertised but more like the plastic contents of a Kinder egg toy. I had to diassemble and then reassemble my item before it would work. Vastly overpriced.

Functions well but I think a bit over priced for what it is. Hard to adjust, but possible, to get a soft lift. Not very aesthetic but I suppose you get what you pay for.Easy setup regards placement but operation reminds me a small bit of a bouncer at a night club, waiting to chuck someone out at the end of the night. If your space constrained between platter and tonearm this is a good option as it has a very small footfall. 3M double sided tape is good and holds the " little chucker" firmly in place. I can definitely recommend it but in hindsight I should have gone for something more pleasing to the eye with a better damping system.
